Story
Meet Westley – Your Loyal, Lovable Sidekick! Westley is a handsome Catahoula mix with a heart as big as his goofy personality. At 50-55 lbs, he’s the perfect-sized companion for someone seeking a devoted best friend. Westley thrives on human connection and is the definition of a Velcro dog—wherever you go, he’ll be right there beside you! He gets along well with other dogs and is even cat-friendly, making him a great addition to a home with existing pets. However, Westley is sensitive to light and sound, and sudden movements or unexpected approaches can startle him. Because of this, his ideal adopter must be experienced and highly aware of their surroundings, ensuring Westley is never put in a situation where he might react out of fear. For Westley, a calm, child-free home is essential—somewhere he won’t be overwhelmed by unpredictable noise or commotion. His deep, unwavering bond with his people makes him an incredibly loyal and loving companion, but he thrives with structure and consistency. He has had professional training and would benefit from continued guidance to reinforce his progress and maintain his confidence. Westley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations—ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a fun-loving goofball who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Westley might just be your perfect match. ##854976##

Story
Meet Lovely Maggie – The Stunning Blue Leopard Catahoula Mix! Maggie is a sweetheart couch potato, bed hopper, breathtaking 4-year-old blue leopard Catahoula mix with one solid blue eye and a striking blue chip in the other. This smart, affectionate, and loyal girl is the perfect companion for someone who loves the unique personality of the Catahoula breed. Maggie’s Journey Maggie’s history is mostly unknown. She was rescued from animal control in North Georgia and given a second chance at life. Why You’ll Love Maggie Loyal & Affectionate: Maggie thrives on being close to her human. She loves snuggling, lounging on the couch, or napping nearby, making her the perfect cuddle buddy. Low-Key Couch Potato with a Fun Side: While Maggie is mostly laid-back, she also enjoys walks, hikes, and car rides—anything that allows her to spend quality time with her person. Meal Time Enthusiast: Maggie’s favorite part of the day is mealtime! Her excitement is unmatched, and she’ll eagerly await her food with adorable enthusiasm. Crate-Trained & Well-Behaved: Maggie is perfectly crate-trained and will happily run into her crate for a treat. Maggie’s Ideal Home Dog Dynamics: Maggie gets along wonderfully with male dogs but has had conflicts with dominant females. She might do well with a submissive female, but she would thrive as the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. No Cats: Due to her high prey drive, a cat-free home is essential. A Loving Human: Maggie craves attention and affection, making her ideal for someone who enjoys having a constant, loving companion. Story
&#226&#128&#139 Ahoy there me mateys. Hudson (aka Sea Biscuit) is looking for a new first mate. He’s been shipwrecked for a while and would love to sail on to his final port (a good home.)     Hudson has more than a little in common with a certain Captain Jack Sparrow. Both are devilishly handsome, both a bit impish and both have hearts of gold.     Hudson is currently living in a home with several dogs and gets along best with dogs that match his energy (medium-high) because he is very playful. His foster home has cats as well, though they may find him a little annoying because he is desperate to play with them.     Hudson enjoys car rides, sleeping in his person’s bed and is a health nut known to enjoy cucumbers and carrots as a snack.  His foster describes him as a bouncy kangaroo who’s cuddly, energetic and would do well in an active home that provides him with good exercise and structure.     Hudson needs to sail away to his forever home and comes with a training  package so he can leave his pirate ways behind.           Check Hudson’s YouTube Video:  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/cv12D8OLm5s  https://youtu.be/k2iwT3VPRjw     Age: 3 years    Weight: 62 lbs    Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative and on prevention    Temperament: Good with other dogs, and older, respectful kids.      Training, House trained, crate trained, knows several commands    Email for questions: sonali@doggieharmony.org    To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. June 12, 2025, 8:09 pm
