Maryann needs a hero. Growing up in rescue is not living her "best life". She has not had it easy. She was adopted as a puppy, but when her dad got a new girlfriend, he decided that he couldn't be bothered with his dogs and so after a year, Maryann ended up back at the rescue. Now, she is hopeful that someone will see her sweet nature and beautiful colors and make her their newest family member. She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, house trained and ready to be adopted. All she needs now is a good loving home full of happiness, playfulness and lots of love. She is in TN but one of our donors has sponsored her so the cost of transport to your area is included in her fee. We use the most animal friendly transport on the road, Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Cloe is a gentle and wiggly sweetheart. This 2 year old is always smiling when her person comes in the room and looks forward to cuddles. You are greeted with her flying through the air with joy. She loves playing fetch with herself and flinging toys across the room only to spring after them. She is great at entertaining herself but also loves playing with the resident dog where she is fostered. Cloe would really enjoy having a confident doggie friend to show her the ropes. She enjoys walks and is occasionally startled by sudden noises. She is easily redirected and encouraged. She is eager to learn tricks and is very food motivated. Cloe does best when crated when you are gone, it's her safe space. She is very smart and will continue to grow and learn in a relaxed environment. Star is approximately 4 years old and about 60 pounds of pure sweetness. When we rescued Star, she had been shot — the bullet went through her jaw and ear. She was in unimaginable pain. She underwent surgery to remove the bullets and had reconstructive work done on her face to save her precious life. Because of her injuries, her little tongue now permanently hangs out — and we think it makes her uniquely beautiful. 💕 It does NOT affect her eating or drinking, and she doesn’t even know she’s any different. And here’s the most amazing part… She is still SO full of love. Oreo is a great dog. He has lots of energy. Loves to be outside, laying in the sun is his favorite. He is 42 pounds and will not get any larger. I would like his new home to be a loving one with a yard for him to play. He plays well with other dogs. We take him to the dog park regularly, as we have no yard for him to run in. He has not been around cats, so I am not sure how he would be, he should be fine but not sure. He would be a great additional to any family. We just work too much and I think he would be happier at home with family. We do take him to work everyday so he loves car rides and likes to be around people once he gets to know them. We will travel to his new home. It does not have to be in NJ.

When we rescued 2-4 year-old Jones, he was emaciated from being a stray without much food to sustain him. HeâÂÂs now about 50-55 pounds and may gain even more. Jones, a Catahoula mix, wears a coat with typical Catahoula markings . He has a sweet personality; heâÂÂs dog friendly and calm. He loves to go for walks and is always glad to see you come his way. Skye is absolutely stunning. She came into the shelter as an owner surrender after a remodel on the family home. She is a very happy friendly girl. She does love squeaky balls but can be a bit obsessive over them. Due to this we do not recommend a home with small kids. She is dog and cat friendly, just all-around sweetheart! She needs some leash manners and does have a sensitive stomach so she`s a bit skinny. If you`re looking for diamond in the rough here she is. With a bit of training this girl will be spectacular!
