Eliza and Rhetta,  her sibling, were found on the side of the road in Mississippi and were rescued and bottle fed.  Potential adopters should be prepared for a medium/large, active adult dog.  Gets along very well with other dogs, respectful of cats.   Eliza- 22 lbs and approx 4 months. Catahoula leopard dog mix (best guess). Treat motivated for easy training. Shy in unfamiliar surroundings, meeting strangers is a breeze as she loves people big and small.  Is social with dogs, very submissive to other dogs.  Curious with cats and chickens. No food or toy aggression. Anticipate a larger dog when full grown , loves to be active and the outdoors! Sleeping in the crate at night without issue, almost fully house trained and needs someone ready to work with her to build confidence on leash walking in new places.  UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Social and respectful with all the pups she has met including the 3 resident dogs.  Curious when it comes to cats and chickens. Loves children, men, women and all strangers(it’s like she’s known you all her life!) No food or toy aggression. *SPECIAL NEEDS - PLEASE READ FULL BIO* Celyn! Celyn is an approx 4-5 mth old medium sized mixed breed. We have no idea exactly what her mix is but an educated guess is there is at least some catahoula leopard mix in there. We always struggle with labeling a deaf dog as special needs because according to Celyn, and anyone who knows her, she is just a typical happy puppy. The only difference is she can't hear when a dog barks at her to play more ;) Deaf dogs are amazing creatures and are easily trained, often with things like hand signals. Obviously even more care than usual should be taken to make sure she does not accidentally get out off leash as she cannot hear you calling her back and can't hear dangers like cars coming. She may also be partially visually impaired. She does so well, it is really hard to tell! Celyn is super friendly with everyone. She loves people and she loves dogs. She will need a family willing to continue to work with her on housebreaking and basic manners. Celyn's adoption fee includes her spay, age appropriate vaccinations and microchipping. Pringle has gotten the short end of things too many times to count. She has recieved several applications but no one has gotten as far in the process to meet her.. at no fault of her own. She is a happy, social girl who absolutely adores people. She deserves a forever home Pringle is an approx 2 year old, Catahoula? Aussie mix? who is just under 60 pounds. She is crate & house trained and does great walking on leash. She loves to play, enjoys toys, romping around with her foster fur-siblings and fetch. Pringle is happy watching tv and cuddling up with her humans but greatly appreciates getting outside to burn some energy. She would love a family on the more active side Pringle is so happy and excited about both friends and food that self-control can be hard.. but she’s open to a patient family continuing to help her remember her manners. Pringle is a strong and athletic jumpy gal who can sometimes be occasionally mouthy while trying to play. “Older and sturdy” dog-savvy children are a must if any in the home. She would appreciate no feline friends as well. Pringle has so much love to give and isn’t shy about seeking attention, giving kisses, cuddling, and pawing at humans to let them know when they’re not done petting her.
