Story
Hi there! I’m Ginny! I’m a sweet, energetic girl looking for my forever home. I was returned to the shelter for the second time, but it wasn’t because of anything I did wrong — sometimes things just don’t work out. I’m still the same playful, loving pup I’ve always been! I absolutely love attention and will happily snuggle up with you when I’m not busy zooming around and playing with my toys. I’m still learning my manners, but I’m food motivated, so with some patience and training, I’ll pick up new things in no time! I’m an active girl who loves running, playing fetch, and even hiking! I’d be so happy in a home where I can burn off all my energy. I could live with other dogs and kids, and possibly cats in the right situation. I’m also a strong chewer, so I’ll need some durable toys to keep me busy and happy. I’m looking for a family who has the time to help me with training and socialization so I can grow into the best girl I can be. If you give me that, I’ll reward you with lots of love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles because I’m a total Velcro dog! If you think I’d be a good fit for your family, I can’t wait to meet you and start making happy memories together! Story
Hi there, I’m Colt, a 7-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog, and I’m on the lookout for a new family who can give me the love, attention, and care I deserve. I was surrendered by my previous family because they loved me so much, they realized they couldn’t give me the time and attention I truly needed. They wanted the best for me, and I know you’ll feel the same once we meet! I’ve got a big heart, and I’m looking for a family who’s ready for a loving, loyal companion. I can be a bit shy and nervous at first, but once I warm up, you’ll see my true playful, goofy side. I’m definitely a Velcro dog—I just want to be where my people are, always close by. I’m also great with other dogs, cats, and kids. I love people, and I’m just a big sweetheart who loves being around my family. Though I’m very affectionate, I’ve got a high prey drive, so I do best in a home that understands my instincts. I’ve got some anxiety, especially when I’m left alone, and I could use some work on my leash manners. But I’m very smart and eager to please, so with a little patience and training, I’ll be a fantastic running or hiking buddy. I’m always up for adventure and love to get outside for exercise—just be ready for a bit of goofiness along the way! I’ve been great with my vet care, and I’m generally very sweet and loving with people of all ages. However, I do have some sensitivity to sounds, so a calm, quiet home might help me feel more at ease. If you're an experienced dog owner who can provide me with the stability and routine I need, I’ll be your loyal, cuddly, and goofy best friend for life. I’ll need multiple visits to make sure we get to know each other, but I promise it will be worth it. I’m ready to find my forever home, where I can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. Story
Meet Lou Lou – A Beautiful Soul Ready for Love!  Lou Lou is a stunning 50-pound, 1-2 year old Catahoula mix with a beautiful smile and dancing eyes that invites you to make friends with her.  She was originally an abandoned girl who was found alone in the middle of a storm, searching for safety. Now, she’s looking for something even more precious—a forever home where she will be loved and cherished. With her blue merle  coat that is stunning and her soulful eyes, Lou Lou is as gorgeous on the outside as she is on the inside. She has a sweet and affectionate personality, melting into belly rubs and eagerly snuggling into your lap. Once she knows you’re her friend, she’ll stick by your side like a loyal shadow, offering endless love and devotion. At about 18 months to 2 years old, Lou Lou has plenty of energy and a playful spirit. She would thrive in an active home where she can run, explore, and learn about all the joys life has to offer. While she can be a little shy at first, she just needs some patience and encouragement to build her confidence. With love and gentle guidance, she will blossom into the amazing companion she is meant to be. Lou Lou is still learning about things like walking on a leash and being an indoor pet, but she is eager to please and will flourish in a home that continues to show her kindness and guidance. In many ways, she is like a puppy—a clean slate ready for training, adventures, and a lifetime of love. Lou Lou has been spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations. She is ready to find her forever family—a patient, loving home where she can continue to grow, trust, and be the incredible dog she was always meant to be.
