Story
Mocha is a little older than a year now. I have a very small child and while I love Mocha, I cannot have her anymore. I cannot keep up with her. Her breed is best for people with a large fenced in area, or people who run, or who can take her on long walks everyday. She is very very friendly with everyone and everything, very affectionate, although she can be restless. I would really love to find a forever home for this sweet girl. She is kennel trained and can be put in at night to sleep or if you go to work!

Story
Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great. My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait. If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Chica To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Hi! My name is Dolly and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on [date].I weigh 57lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to play with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I would do best in a home with older children.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zoe! She is a beautiful, 3-year-old, 50 lb, Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who was surrendered by her owner as she could no longer keep her. She is a sweet girl who walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands, takes treats gently and is housetrained. She would love a home with an active family who will keep her physically exercised. She can be reactive with other dogs when face-to-face and would do best as the only dog in the home. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard in a suburban or rural neighborhood where she can run around and get her zoomies out or chill out and relax. Zoe’s throat was crushed in a crate door when she was a puppy and she needs to be walked using a harness, no collars or slip leads. She has dealt with some megaesophagus but it is manageable. Zoe is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to Maverick! He is a stunning, 4-year-old, 56lb Catahoula/Border Collie mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Maverick is an awesome dog with stunning looks! He is super sweet and loves to be with his person. He also walks very well on leash and stays close to his handler, checking in quite frequently. He is still very shut down and shy, and requires time and patience in building confidence in new situations. Loud noises and sudden movements tend to scare him, so he is a flight risk and will need a handler who has a secure grip on his leash at all times. Maverick has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog to a home. He would also do fine as an only dog with continued socialization. He is truly a sweet dog with a lot of love to give and is looking for a person to call his own! Maverick is UTD vaccinations, microchip, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED It’s Footloose! This floppy-eared goofball is a 1.5-year-old, 40lb, Catahoula/Cattle Dog mix who came to us from Louisiana in search of his forever home! Footloose is awesome! He is super sweet, playful, and just a total GOOF! You can always count on having a good time when you’re with him as he is the life of the party and totally down to clown. Footloose loves to explore and is very adventurous. He would make an excellent adventure companion for hiking, running, and anything outdoorsy that requires high physical activity! Footloose loves to play with other dogs and is quite social. He can be a bit pushy sometimes during play but listens well when other dogs correct him. This beautiful boy knows some basic obedience and would thrive in a home that will continue to work on his training and help him manage his energy. He is a high energy dog and will require a very active home that can provide him the mental and physical stimulation he needs. Footloose is going to make an awesome companion to whoever adopts him as he is loyal, loving, and can easily put a smile on your face with his goofiness! Footloose is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
Indio was around the shelter for two years, neglected by his former owners, we decided to give him a space in the shelter when he started playing among the cars on the road. In the midst of danger we were able to get him to safety, and he currently has his full vaccination schedule, microchipped and neutered, ready for his new home. He is a very faithful, intelligent, calm and very sociable dog. He was raised with other dogs and cats, so he makes him a good companion for any family, he likes to go for a walk on a leash, cuddles, receive prizes and learns very quickly. He is an affectionate companion, ideal for a family with children and cats, who wants to give him the love he deserves. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date.
