Meet Mushu, a young Cavapoo who is equal parts tenderhearted, wiggly, and wonderfully goofy. This sweet boy starts off skittish with new humans, but he’s getting braver every day. Once he decides you’re safe, he becomes your personal shadow, the kind that believes personal space is a myth and snuggling is a full-time job.
Mushu absolutely loves other dogs and truly needs a confident, playful canine friend in his forever home. He looks to them for reassurance, learns from their bravery, and happily joins them for zoomies, toy time, and general puppy shenanigans. A calm home with a friendly dog will help him to continue to blossom into the brave little guy he’s meant to be.
Because Mushu startles easily with loud or unfamiliar noises, he’ll need a fenced yard to keep him safe while he explores and plays. He’s doing great in his crate and sleeps through the night without a peep. He’s also a quiet pup overall and rarely barks.
Mushu is still polishing up his potty training, but he’s very close. He does well in the car, loves toys, and recently discovered the joy of treats, which he now thinks are the best invention in the world. Walks are getting easier for him, though he can still get nervous on a leash, so patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way.
