Meet Danica! Danica is an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, nearly 2 years old and weighing 15 pounds. Her striking black and white coloring reminded us of a racing champion's checkered flag - so we named her Danica. Though she came from a puppy mill and was used for breeding at a young age, Danica isn't carrying that past with her. She's looking forward with hope and excitement, ready to embrace her new life. Danica absolutely loves to run in a fenced yard - she'd be a star at a cross-country meet! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though she hasn't yet been introduced to cats. She's making great progress with leash training, is nearly house-trained, and sleeps peacefully in her crate all night. That said, her favorite place to sleep would be cuddled up next to her person in bed. Danica adores gently pets and is still learning to enjoy full-on hugs. She's as sweet as pumpkin pie and ready to become the newest member of your family - just in time for the best Thanksgiving ever. Danica is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Sassifraga is a 25lb, 4.5-year-old Cavalier and the sweetest girl you'll ever meet! She is a retired puppy mill mama with a whole new life ahead of her and is looking for a special family to show her the good life. She will need a patient home to help her learn all about potty training and walking on a leash, but is already doing great using pee pads in her foster home. She absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily sit in your lap giving you kisses all day long! Bonus if you have a furry sibling for her to play and cuddle with as she loves other dogs. If you're looking for a sweet companion to fill your heart with joy then Sassifraga is your girl! Common for her breed, Sassifraga has been diagnosed with early stage degenerative valve disease that is currently managed with heart friendly food and no medication. While this diagnosis may sound scary, it does not slow this sweet girl down a bit! Potential families are encouraged to research this diagnosis while considering adopting. Sassifraga is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Meet Jake and Milo, they are King Charles Cavaliers.  Jake the tri-color male is 16.9lbs, given a date of birth 2-14-22. Milo is 13.1lbs given a date of birth of 7-4-23.  They were puppy mill dogs that escaped, so when we bought the property they could not catch them and left them behind.  It only took a couple days and they love us.  5-29-24 the  boys were heartworm/lyme tested and both negative on both, got their vaccines, micro chipped with Home Again, neutered they will now start their monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention- nexgard plus. If you have room in your heart and home for these sweet boys or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue and we will send you our adoption questionnaire: miraclehouserescue@gmail.com.
