Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Looking for a love that lasts longer than chocolate and flowers? Meet Moira, a 6-year-old Cavalier who’s ready to steal your heart and curl up right into it. Moira is a sweet, gentle soul who truly adores people. She’s happiest soaking up affection, enjoying cozy moments, and being near her favorite humans. At a petite 16.5 lbs, she’s the perfect size for laps, couches, and quiet companionship. When it comes to other animals, Moira is pretty indifferent—she doesn’t seek them out, but she also doesn’t cause any fuss. She’d be just as content as your one true love or sharing space with calm furry roommates. If you’re searching for a calm, loving companion to make every day feel a little more special, Moira might just be your forever Valentine. Moira is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Meet Duchess of Dozing, a tiny (24-lbs, cough cough) royal whose reign is build on naps, snuggles, and affection. She snores, snorts, and generally makes the most un-ladylike noises when she's deeply relaxed and happy. Light sleepers need not apply. Duchess is in a foster home with dogs of various sizes and personalities. She enjoys being around all of them. She prefers to do her business outside and away from her royal space. Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet Button! A 13 lb, 4-month-old Cavachon. He is the cutest little pup and his personality just makes him cute as a BUTTON! His superpower is wagging his tail so hard his whole body follows. In terms of house training, Button is still learning the rules. As he gets older and has time in a home with a routine, he will figure it out. Due to the cold weather, Button hasn’t had much leash training. We are still working on him getting comfortable using one and understanding what a gentle tug means. Button is happy to be in a crate at night, he does get classical music played at night to achieve maximum R&R. If you're looking for a playful mop, Button is your pup! Button is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
