Story
Meet Oliver! This handsome 6.5-month-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel weighs 24 pounds and is packed with personality and sweetness. Oliver is looking for a forever family that will appreciate both his playful puppy side and his affectionate, snuggly nature.
When you first meet Oliver, he may be a little shy and take a moment to assess his surroundings, but he warms up quickly and soon becomes a loyal companion. Before long, he'll be following you around and soaking up all the attention he can get.
Oliver loves just about everyone he meets and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. He enjoys having friends to play with and would fit in well with many different types of families.
This playful boy has a few favorite things in life. Squeaky toys are always at the top of the list, and if there’s one nearby, Oliver is ready for a game. He also has a hilarious fondness for old socks, which seem to be his accessory of choice. Once he has burned off some puppy energy, however, Oliver’s favorite place in the world is right on your lap, where he can relax and enjoy a cozy evening by your side.
Oliver is a smart pup who is working hard on his house training. He’s making great progress and, with a consistent routine and a little patience, he’s sure to master it in no time. He is eager to please and responds well to positive reinforcement.
Whether your home includes children, cats, other dogs, or just you, Oliver is ready to shower his family with love. If you’re looking for a playful companion who will keep you laughing and happily curl up in your lap at the end of the day, Oliver may be the perfect addition to your family.
Oliver is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $450.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
