Story
Thinking about adding a puppy to your family? You certainly could. Or... you can bypass all the shenanigans and adopt me, Lady Bean. My credentials? Impeccable! But let's go easy with the "Maw Maw" talk. Having a frosted face may qualify me for senior discounts, but just so you know, I have plenty of pep in my step for enjoying strolls and can smoke the kids in a backyard footrace. Otherwise, I am content to claim my spot on the couch, especially beside you. Friendly from the first hello, popular with dogs, and gentle with the three busy kids in my foster home, I fit in just about anywhere. Sure, I am cute, but it's that soulful companionship that takes the cake. My suitcase is packed, so what do you say to adding a vibrant, petite, seasoned sidekick to your pack? Applications for my Flop, Drop and Roll Belly Rub Club are open. Catch you on the flip side! Est. birthdate is 5/18/2011, 30 lbs., my $200 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, parasite prevention, spay and micochip.

Story
Daisy has been in her foster home for only a few days and she has already made herself comfortable! This little lady believes laps are assigned seating, kisses should be given without warning, and humans should never wander around the house unsupervised. She’s house trained, crate trained, respectable on leash, and perfectly fine with dogs but people are her speciality! A 100% lap lover! Est. birthdate is 8/7/2023, 15 lbs., her $300 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, parasite prevention, spay, and microchip. Once you meet Daisy prepare yourself for a lifelong friendship!!

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Faith, mom, and littermates live in a Montevallo area Foster Home. They are currently fostered with two older kittens, and they all played together! Faith's mom appears to be a Chiweenie. She's probably got several breeds in her DNA. Shes 12 weeks old and 3.5 pounds 7/20. Faith is too young and too small to be fully vetted. Adopters must live in the greater Birmingham metro and surrounding area so they can keep the vet appointment to spay/neuter when older and bigger. Adopters sign a contract. $400 Adoption fee includes neuter, multiple puppy vaccines and boosters, rabies, microchip, multiple deworming, and the puppy receives parasite prevention. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online. Copy and paste the link into your browser and fill out the easy application online. Please tell us about yourself and why you want this dog. Vet reference preferred, current or previous. https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157

Story
Meet Skipper! ❤️ Skipper is (estimated at 9 years young) an auburn chipper male. Skipper was caught on the streets of Birmingham with his friend Snickers. So, we honestly think they came from the same home. Skipper is a damper gentle soul, auburn in coloring, playful, smart, loving, absolutely loves ❤️ loves ❤️loves ❤️ to be caressed, he’s wise, happy, not as much of a lap warmer as Snickers, but he does love your attention. He has long graceful legs and is a whoot. 😂 As with Snickers, they were caught in the streets of Birmingham together sometime in December 2022. Both are both house trained with regular trips outside. A fenced backyard would be great and preferred! 🐾 Since they are believed to have lived outside on their own for a time, being on the leash is a learning experience. When they are together, if they see other fur babies they get really excited and like to bark. Which is probably, how they survived on their own for so long as a way to protect themselves being so small and older. Even though Skipper eventually warms up to new dogs, it takes a while, and he would probably be happiness as an only dog in his next home. Skipper is very much loved in his foster home. Thus, only the most perfect of home him will he grace. 🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Story
Prissy is a 3-year-old Chihuahua with a tender little heart who just needs someone willing to give her the time to let it shine. She can be shy and nervous when meeting new people, so she may not immediately climb into your lap and declare you her new best friend. Prissy needs a little patience and a chance to decide that you’re safe. But once she trusts you, that nervous little girl turns into an incredibly sweet, cuddly companion who loves being close to her person. Prissy is crate trained and tends to prefer women over men. She’s looking for a patient, loving home that understands trust isn’t always instant. Sometimes the dogs who make you earn their love are the ones who love you the hardest once you do. If you have the time, patience, and devotion to show Prissy what true love and security are really about, she’s ready for you. Prissy’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply to adopt at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com

Story
Rascal is a 10-year-old gentleman who has had his whole world turned upside down after losing his owner. After so much change, what this sweet senior wants now is pretty simple: a quiet home, a soft place to sleep, and someone to love. Rascal is house trained, crate trained, and perfectly content living the slower life. He doesn’t need a packed social calendar or a house full of chaos. He’s looking for peaceful days, cozy naps, a little sunshine, and a person he can call his own. He does well with cats and would be happiest in a calmer home where he can relax and enjoy his retirement years. A home without young, rambunctious dogs would be ideal. Rascal has made it very clear that retirement should not include being body-slammed by the neighborhood youngsters. Once he landed in a quieter foster home, we got to see a completely different little dog. The worried face disappeared, he started strutting around, exploring, and actually smiling. It was pretty obvious that this was exactly the kind of environment he needed. Rascal has already lost the person and home he knew. Now we want his next move to be his last. If you have a peaceful home and a soft spot for the old guys, Rascal just might be your boy. His $200 adoption fee covers neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip.
