Nick is a shy, one year old Chihuahua mix with a gentle way about him. He's a sweet 9-pound package who's dog friendly and a bit curious. Because he's so small we think it is best he go into a home without children under 10 unless they have had experience with such small dogs. And look into his eyes! They're deep and thoughtful and loving. Wow. What a sweet boy. What a fine threesome these littermates make! They're one year old Chihuahua mixes weighing only 10 pounds each. Their names are Tuk, Lo'ak, and Neteyam and each is as playful as the next! They can be a bit shy at first, but they quickly warm up and are very friendly with other dogs and people! These pups are loving, calm, treat motivated and sweet. (Due to their small size we prefer they go to homes without children under 10 years old who don't always know their own strength.) Oh, my! This girl is so precious that we couldn't name her anything else! Can you blame us? Precious is a 1-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix who would do best in a home without small children who don't always know their own strength or with those who have had experience with such a petite dog. Super sweet and loving, she is dog friendly and loves to be held. She can be a bit shy at first but quickly finds those arms she wants to fall into! When she came to us she had a lump on her side which we had removed. It was non-cancerous, and she's fine. As we said, we could call her nothing else but Precious, and it describes her well. Silly is a Chiweenie that came from a severe hoarding situation. Poor Silly didn't even have a name until we rescued him and one of our teenage volunteers gave him his name, Silly loves to play and be loved on. Silly is really good with teenagers but has never met a small child. Silly is good with dogs as long as they don't come on with aggression. Silly is UTD on shots and is neutered. With time,love and some patience, Silly will be a wonderful addition to any family. If you would like to know more about this little guy, please email us and we will send you an application. Thanks for choosing rescue! 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 Non-profit rescue organization. All of our animals come fully vetted which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter as well as Heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We can also arrange transportation to your location within 500 miles of our sanctuary in Hayden, Alabama if necessary. The additional charge of $35 (health certificate required for out of state travel) plus a .50 cents per mile charge to your location. This will be calculated on an individual basis should you need this option and you will be given the total prior to finalization of the adoption process. There is a Non-Refundable $100.00 deposit that will be required in order to secure a place on a transport. The $100.00 deposit will be deducted from the balance owed at the time of the adoption. Deposits and fees can be paid via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash. All balances must be paid in full at the time of the dog's arrival to you. We look forward to helping you find your family's new Baby! Wayne is a super sweet little man. He is a little excited and anxious at first meeting new people due to his past trauma but once he gets to know you he is quite the love bug. He also came from the hoarder rescue but has made a beautiful recovery. Unfortunately Wayne get muscular seizures when he gets too excited but needs no medication as of now. Wayne is a velcro dog that wants nothing but to be held and loved all day.
