Story
Buster is a sweet, lovable boy who thrives on affection and attention. He gets along incredibly well with other dogs, and he's been around little ones under 3 years old with no issues at all, he's as gentle as they come. He is house-trained, doesn't dart out the door, and is generally just a very well-behaved pup. We adopted him from Front Street Shelter in 2023. Buster's only been around dogs so I am not sure how well he would do with other pets. I put No on cats because it won't let me choose the unknown option. Unfortunately, we realized we're not the right long-term fit for him. We travel often and aren't home enough to give him the consistent love and attention he deserves. We're looking for a loving home where he can be adored and given the time spent with him.. If you're looking for a sweet soul, Buster is your guy.

Story
After my mom’s passing, her dogs Jill and Riker are looking for a caring home. They are very bonded and will need to be adopted together. We hope to find them a safe, loving home by the end of February. Jill is a sweet 14-year-old chihuahua who needs a loving home. My mom recently passed away, and I’m unable to keep her dogs. She is closely bonded with Riker, and they truly comfort each other. Jill is still active, though she can move a bit slowly at times. She can be a little head-shy and tends to bark at first, but she settles down quickly. She also loves playing with Riker.

Story
Sweet little Dasher was recently rescued and is now ready for his forever home. His estimated dob is 7/2025 and he is about 14lbs. Dasher's ideal home: * Secure fenced yard where he can play and race around in * Another friendly, playful dog. He's used to being with his siblings, so he seeks out dog companionship. * Kids over 12yrs old He is fairly well potty trained but needs his human to take him out every now and then. Currently Dasher sleeps in a crate at night (8hrs). He already knows Come, Sit and Down and would benefit from continued training and socialization. He loves to run and play outside with his fosterparents and fosterdoggie sister. Dasher also enjoys playing in the snow! Dasher has a great inquisitive personality and is ready to snuggle when it's time to relax. Story
Lainey is a darling little chihuahua mix. She was born around 2/2024 and is currently 9 lbs. Lainey is happy, playful, affectionate and medium energy. She has a gentle, submissive, sweet way about her that is very endearing. She can be shy when meeting new people but has shown she will warm up with slow, gentle introductions and treats. Lainey likes playing with her toys and chewing on her chewy bones. She likes to explore in the yard and play chase with her dog buddies. She enjoys being with her people and desires to be a large part of her family’s life. She likely would not do well being left home alone daily for long hours. Lainey enjoys the company of other friendly, respectful dogs who are not overly dominant. She seems to prefer dogs around her size to play and romp around with. She will play with some larger dogs provided they are not overly rough. She does not enjoy rambunctious, wrestling type play but does love to play chase with other dogs. Lainey currently lives with well balanced dogs of all sizes and does well with them. She also lives with dog savvy cats and is respectful with them but she might challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Children would likely overwhelm her so an adult only home is recommended. She really enjoys a yard so no apartments for her. She is crate trained, doing well with house training and learning to walk politely on a leash. Lainey would likely do well with a person who has the time, patience and understanding to help her adjust in a new home. She would enjoy a confident, friendly dog buddy to pal around with, help show her the ropes and keep her company while her humans are away from home. Lainey is a little sweetheart who is a joy to foster and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Vixen's ideal home: * Secure fenced yard where she can play and race around in * Another friendly, playful dog. She's used to being with her siblings, so she seeks out dog companionship. * Kids over 5yrs old She is fairly well potty trained, but needs her human to take her out every now and then (although she is learning to go to the back door to go out and potty). Currently Vixen sleeps in a crate at night (8hrs). When her people leave, she has been left in her crate for up to 5 hours at a time and does great. Vixen is a puppy still and LOVES to chew...she needs to be well supervised when in the house, until she grows out of her chewing phase. She also would benefit from training and socialization. Right now, she isn't super comfy on leash and is nervous in new places, so getting out and about will be needed to help her with those things. Vixen has a great inquisitive personality and although she is a busy girl, she is ready to snuggle when it's time to relax. We hope to find them a safe, loving home by the end of February. Riker is a sweet 10-year-old chiweenie who is deeply bonded with Jill, and they will need a home together. He can be a little cautious at first, but once he learns to trust you, his loving personality shines. Riker absolutely adores belly rubs and neck massages, and he’ll happily soak up any attention you give him. He’s a good eater, enjoys playing, and loves being close to his person. Riker does need a dental cleaning and a few teeth removed, and I will cover the cost of the procedure.

Story
Kiki was adopted from the SPCA Sacramento and is a loving, very friendly dog. She enjoys going to the park, loves car rides, and does very well with kids. She is fully house-trained and goes outside for her business. Kiki is well trained and communicates her needs clearly—she knows how to ask for food, treats, and when she needs to go outside. She plays only with her own toys and will not touch other household items once told not to. She may be a little particular about her toys at first, but once she feels comfortable, she enjoys sharing and interactive play. She is being rehomed only due to my international relocation from the USA to India. This is a very difficult decision, and my priority is to find her a safe, stable, and loving home where she will be treated as a true family member. There is no rehoming fee. I am happy to provide her supplies, food, and veterinary records to help make the transition easier.
