Story
Lucy is a sweetheart! She does require patience initially while she gets settled, but once she is comfortable she becomes her cute, goofy self. She is good with other dogs, she travels well, she's housebroken and she especially loves to sit outdoors in the sun. She's been great with the grandkids in her foster home. She is a good snuggler and very playful after she's adjusted. She can be a little food-aggressive but that might be because there are several other dogs in her foster home. There is a kennel set up for Lucy and when she feels overwhelmed she will nap in it on her own. She would do great in a home that doesn't have a lot of other dogs. She does have one blue eye (probably due to past trauma) but it's not painful and it's even slightly visual - and of course, she can see great with her "good" eye.

Story
*Jimmy does not attend our Saturday adoption events. He is available by private adoption appointment and is located in foster care in Fort Collins, CO. Contact us for more information!* Jimmy the gentleman has quickly stolen the hearts of many while within our care. He was transferred into Bounce from NOCO Humane when both organizations felt that he would do best in a foster home set up. He has quickly shown us how friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered he is. Aged at approximately 8 years, he is spry and carefree and loves to show off with occasional living room zoomies. Despite having no teeth, he is very food motivated and comes running when he hears cheese wrappers. (Also having no teeth has given him the best expressions as his tongue lazily hangs from his mouth most of the day.) Jimmy loves doing all things with his humans (car rides, Netflix binges, and short walks to the mailbox). While he is friendly towards dogs, cats, and children, he would really love a lower energy home where he could be obsessively doted upon as an only child. Jimmy is an 8-year-old mixed breed rescued from a local Colorado shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and neutered. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Coco! Coco came to us from a high-intake shelter in Denver. She originally came from a hoarding situation and didn't test well at the shelter due to being overwhelmed and scared. (Who can blame her?!) Coco has blossomed in foster care and absolutely adores being a beloved member of the family. Due to Coco's background, she is looking for a patient home that will allow her time to decompress and transition. Once won over, she is the perfect canine companion. She is affectionate, funny, playful, and well-behaved. She adores playing and gently wrestling with both canine and feline friends, playing with squeaky toys, and burrowing in blankets. Her snuggling skills are unmatched and she is never far from her people in case a cuddling opportunity arises. Due to her both her background and breed characteristics, she is vocal and skittish when first meeting new people and will alarm bark when unknown people enter the home or approach her. Also due to this, she would prefer a home without young children as they easily overwhelm her. She would prefer a home where she can be a homebody and have a relatively consistent schedule. While a backyard is not an adoption requirement, she is still mastering her leash skills and will need additional time and training to be a leashed pro. (Furthermore, she loves sunbathing on the outdoor patio!) And while also not a set requirement, she would enjoy another canine companion to play and cuddle with. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and charming friend, consider adding Coco to your home today! Coco is a 4-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. Story
This pups adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. Tazz was rescued from an overcrowded shelter by our director when she visited our partner in New Mexico. He is very shy and appears to not understand what it is like to really be loved. Tazz is looking for a very patient person who can slowly show him what it is like to be loved and give him the unconditional love he deserves for the rest of his life. Tazz is not a people-dog yet and still very much prefers the company of dogs. He still makes it very difficult to even approach, let alone touch him. Our director is working with him to show him that humans are not all bad and are actually a source of good things (like food!). Tazz needs an adopter who will understand his boundaries and need to go slow. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Tazz is not your guy (yet). If you are looking for a very rewarding experience in helping him become comfortable with humans, please apply! ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Thackery Binx is a loving little guy who is curious about the big world around him. He is the last remaining of his litter and just can't wait to meet you!! Meet - https://youtube.com/shorts/3CNLHL_UaS8?si=RfF5kvohVJBaCrCu From his foster parent: "He is SO smart! He listens well, but is a total goofball. He's completely kennel trained, but he prefers to have a soft bed in the kennel with him. He LOVES to cuddle. He sleeps with me most of the time and he's a great sleeper, he even sleeps in if you're quiet in the morning. He is 80% potty trained. He has separation anxiety, so he does best in the kennel with a bed when you leave the house because his anxiousness makes him go to the bathroom when he's alone. He is very gentle with children, but he does jump. (We are still working on this, it's those long legs.) he does great with other animals, cats and dogs, but his energy level can be a bit much for animals who aren't as fond of play time. He doesn't bark very much at home, but he always barks at strangers. You have to put anything and everything up and out of Thackery's reach because he LOVES to chew on things. ANYTHING. Having lots of toys is very helpful. He is very smart, so when redirected to chew on a toy instead of something else, he is happy to do that. He does not like the car. He gets very quiet and timid in the car. If you need any more info let me know. He's an amazing boy!"
