Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, May 10. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants. Please contact us to learn more. Happy Mother's Day to all human, dog, and cat moms out there!* Simba has a playful spirit and a sweet, soulful gaze that could melt even the toughest heart. Simba is the perfect combo of playful and expert-level lap cuddler. Simba is currently enrolled in the prestigious School of Being a Good Boy, where he’s majoring in Potty Training and minoring in Kennel Toleration. He’s also taking intro-level courses in “Sit,” and “Stay.” This little guy is smart, eager to please, and just so full of love. Simba has been interested in the resident cat, and has given a playful chase a handful of times. While completely harmless, he would do best with a dog savvy feline that doesn't mind his playful nature. If you’re looking for a pocket-sized shadow with big ears and even bigger snuggles, Simba might just be your soulmate. Simba is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Simba is tested with other dogs, cats, children, and is kennel and potty trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Silver! We are utterly obsessed with this 1-year-old, 12 pound, chihuahua mix. This dog is happy, funny, well-behaved, and good with anything with a pulse. His interests include doling out kisses, wrestling with canine friends, burrowing under blankets, and meeting the neighborhood on walks. Silver is potty and kennel trained, will trade dances for treats, and is the quietest chihuahua we have ever come across. This dog is perfection. Like the kind your granny would show off to bridge club before even mentioning the grandkids. If you’re ready for an easygoing dog who loves everyone, Silver’s your guy. Silver is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Silver is also tested with other dogs and children. He is not tested with cats. Bruno is kennel trained and working on potty training in foster care. Story
Brownie has a heart as big as his personality. This little spitfire is full of life, bringing boundless energy and affection to every moment. He’s playful, outgoing, and absolutely loves his toys – whether it’s a squeaky ball or a tug rope, he’s all in! He’s working hard on his potty training and already has his kennel manners down like a pro. When he’s not zooming around the living room or playing with his favorite toys, she’s all about cuddles and snuggles, soaking up every bit of love you have to give. Brownie would thrive in a home that can match his playful spirit and give him plenty of attention. If you’re looking for a tiny but mighty companion who’ll keep you laughing and your heart full, Brownie is your guy! Brownie is a 3-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Brownie is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. Story
This pups adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Tazz does not enjoy human interaction and much prefers the company of other dogs. He will take a long time to decompress around new people, but overall enjoys being independent. He needs an adopter who is patient, understanding of his personality and needs, and knows he does not bond with humans easily. Tazz is not a people-dog and still very much prefers the company of dogs. He still makes it very difficult to even approach, let alone touch him. Our director is working with him to show him that humans are not all bad and are actually a source of good things (like food!). Tazz needs an adopter who will understand his boundaries and need to go slow. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Tazz is not your guy (yet). If you are looking for a very rewarding experience in helping him become comfortable with humans, please apply! Tazz was rescued from an overcrowded shelter by our director when she visited our partner in New Mexico. He is very shy and appears to not understand what it is like to really be loved. Tazz is looking for a very patient person who can slowly show him what it is like to be loved and give him the unconditional love he deserves for the rest of his life. ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Petco in Fort Collins (2211 S College Ave. STE 200, Fort Collins, CO 80525)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.
