Story
Clay (M) and Thumper (F) are a bonded pair of PomChi’s looking for a home. Clay is 8 and Thumper is 6 years old. They are both under 10 lbs with Clay at 8 lbs and Thumper at 7 lbs. These two are so sweet and cuddly. Wherever one goes the other is sure to follow. Their favorite spot is basking in the sun, working on their tans. Both seem to do well with their house training when they have outdoor access (a doggie door propped open) and also use puppy pads. Thumper isn’t fond of leash walking so we are seeking a home with a securely fenced in yard. These two would be fine as the only dogs in the home or joining an existing pack. A busy home likely not their jam. Clay & Thumper are being fostered in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/clay-thumper/. Story
Meet Buster! Buster is a 4 (almost 5) year old, 15 lbs, Chihuahua mix. This sweet, gentle boy is a total cuddlebug once he feels safe with you. He’s fully crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash. Buster is smart, but also very shy—he can be skeptical of new people and needs someone who will go slow, respect his space, and let him build trust at his own pace. Once he warms up, his personality shines. With continued socialization and positive exposure to new people and experiences, he’ll continue to grow in confidence. He’s very chill, loves hanging out at home, and will happily entertain himself watching (or chasing!) squirrels in the yard. He’s great in the car, has no separation anxiety, and prefers quiet environments over big groups. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will be your loyal shadow once he feels comfortable, Buster could be your perfect match. Buster seems to enjoy the company of similarly sized dogs, but he doesn’t require the company of one in his forever home. Buster is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/buster You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

" Ranger’s New Year’s resolution is to find the perfect lap(s), aka his forever family. His sweetness knows no bounds, and even though he is only 1 year old, he is a big fan of snuggle marathons. At 15 pounds, Ranger is the perfect cuddle size. He can be shy with new people at first, but once he feels comfortable, his loving personality shines. He enjoys giving kisses and is happy to be held in just about any position, whether curled up in a lap or on his back in your arms like a baby. Ranger also enjoys playing with toys and romping around with other dogs, and he is cat-friendly too. He loves going out for walks and will occasionally pause to make sure his human is still close by, just to be safe. He is also doing very well with his house-training! Since Ranger is nervous with new people, he would do best in a home without children. If you are searching for a loyal companion who will provide endless cuddles and fun, Ranger just might be your perfect match." Ranger is being fostered in Loveland, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ranger/. Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 17. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants January 12-18.* Meet Beau! This handsome little tornado is a whirlwind of fun! He is bold, playful, and athletic, and is unfazed by the vacuum cleaner! Beau would love another dog to play and wrestle gently with, but would also love to be your one-and-only cuddle buddy. He adores playing with toys, chewing on bones, and running at top speed around the back yard! He is great with kids, is crate trained, and is working on potty training. Beau is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Beau is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 17. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants January 12-18.* Ellie may be small, but her personality is anything but. After a difficult start to life, this sweet girl has shown remarkable resilience and is now thriving in foster care — healthy, happy, and full of joy. She’s the perfect blend of “carried princess” and “trail blazer.” One moment she’s curled up in her favorite kangaroo pouch, and the next she’s trotting along confidently with the big dogs, soaking up every adventure. Ellie does everything with her whole heart. Ellie is loyal, playful, and fully potty trained. She adores other dogs, loves her people, and does well with kids. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, but with patience and kindness, she quickly blossoms into a devoted companion who promises endless laughs and cozy under-the-covers snuggles. At around 12 pounds, Ellie is the perfect size for both adventures and cuddles. She’s ready for a home that will give her the love and stability she deserves — and in return, she’ll be your most loyal little shadow. Ellie is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Ellie is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
