Story
Punky is an animal shelter reject. FOCCAS was asked to take her into care because she was too nervous for the shelter. She's scared and completely uncertain of how love works. She knows she loves her two dozen foster homies and the one kitty cat roommate. Punky really needs an environment where she can lap surf with somebody or somebodies who spend a lot of time in chill mode. She's a chi with a huge heart and a lot of uncertainty. She needs someone who can be her human to crawl up on your shoulder and protect you from being unloved by a beautiful little best friend.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY. Punky's adoption fee is $275.Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     Meet sweet Bartok from Puerto Rico  Age - 1yr Sex - MWeight- 11lbsSpay-neuter? YESPotty trained? YESCreate trained? YESLeashed trained? He is learning...On a scale of 1 to 10, he has a 7.Dog, cat, kids friendly? YESAny resourse guarding? NOPeople friendly? YESPersonality? Guffy, lovely and very friendly boy.HW Tested? YES/Negative What vaccines do he have? DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella He's fully trained and ready for adoption. My dog &#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139Gustavo taught him many things, and he's been with me for two months now. He doesn't even bark when we leave the house; he's very calm and affectionate. He's a lap dog, but he's needy, meaning if you give him a toy or a treat, he's completely absorbed in his own world. He doesn't attack cats, fight over food, or try to bite.Bartok and his brother arrived at the home of an elderly couple in the town of Arecibo about a month ago. Their granddaughter asked for help on Facebook, and my friend saw the post and decided to help. She went to get them...if those dogs didn't get help, they were going to be taken to Animal Control because the elderly couple are 86 and 91 years old and can't take care of any animal. Since then, they've been with Carla, who is taking care of them.     All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Story
Sara is a beautiful, 8-year-old chihuahua mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is partially blind, with cataracts in her right eye and lenticular sclerosis in her left, but don't let that fool you - Sara adapts wonderfully with consistency, routine, and familiar surroundings. She's confident when she knows what to expect and thrives in a calm, stable home with someone who understands her vision needs. Sara's foster describes her as opinionated, sweet, social, and endearingly stubborn - in other words, a true chihuahua queen. She enjoys affection on her terms and prefers that you sit down and let her hop into your lap rather than being picked up unexpectedly. Once she's settled, she's all about the belly rubs and soaking up love. Sara does best with older, respectful children who can remain calm and gentle with her. She's looking for an adopter who will appreciate her independence, respect her boundaries, and offer her the security and love she deserves. If you're searching for a loyal little companion with personality, sass, and so much love to give, Sara may just be your perfect match. Apply for Sara at allpawsondeck.org Must be 21+ to adopt $500 Adoption Fee; $100 spay/neuter deposit Located in Griswold, CT To adopt you must - Fill out an application at allpawsondeck.org - All your pets must be spayed / neutered and up to date - We can’t adopt to MA residents due to State Laws. If the dog is posted, the dog is available. Only complete applications at allpawsondeck.org will be considered.
