Story
Cosmo is the kind of puppy who makes every room feel a little brighter just by being in it.
At almost 2 months old, he is pure curiosity wrapped in soft, adorable puppy energy. Cosmo approaches the world like it’s all brand new (because to him, it is), and he wants to investigate absolutely everything. If something moves, he’s there. If something is quiet, he’s checking it out. If you’re doing something, he’s definitely involved—whether you invited him or not.
This little guy is a happy, social sweetheart who is thriving in his foster home with other puppies. He absolutely loves having friends around and spends his days bouncing between play sessions, wrestling matches, and “I’m not tired yet!” zoomies. He’s playful in that classic puppy way—wobbly, enthusiastic, and completely committed to having fun even when he’s clearly about to fall asleep mid-play.

Cosmo is also very affectionate in his own busy little way. Between bursts of energy, he’ll happily come in for quick snuggles, check in for reassurance, or flop down right where you are because that seems like the best place to rest for exactly 12 seconds before he’s off again. He doesn’t do anything halfway—he plays hard, loves hard, and naps hard.
He is especially interested in what everyone else is doing. If another puppy has a toy, Cosmo wants to know about it. If someone is wrestling, Cosmo is suddenly part of the situation. If a human is nearby, Cosmo assumes he is included in whatever is happening. He’s social, confident in a puppy way, and always eager to be part of the action.
Because he’s still so young, Cosmo is just beginning to learn the basics of life in a home—potty training, manners, and all the important “how to be a great family dog” skills. He’s smart, food-motivated, and very eager to please, which makes him a great little student in the making. With consistency, patience, and love, he’s going to grow into an incredible companion.
Cosmo would do well in a home that understands puppy energy comes in waves—big bursts of chaos followed by sudden naps in the most inconvenient (and adorable) places. He’d likely thrive with another playful dog or active household that can keep up with his joyful personality and help guide him as he grows.
If you’re looking for a puppy who is silly, social, endlessly entertaining, and full of heart, Cosmo is ready to orbit straight into your life. He may be small now, but his personality is already larger than life—and he’s just getting started.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
