PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. WE TRANSPORT OUR DOGS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org 💛 Meet Rachel 💛 Rachel is a tiny, 8-pound, approximately 1-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix… with a heart that’s quietly waiting to bloom. She came from a hoarding situation with many other dogs, so the world is still a big, new place for her. At first, she can be a little shy—taking it all in, making sure everything is safe. But once she realizes she’s okay? Oh… that’s when the magic happens. Because underneath that shy exterior is the sweetest little soul who absolutely melts for gentle love. Because of her beginning she would probably do better in a quieter home with older children that can give her space when she needs it. Her favorite thing? Belly scratches. The kind where she slowly rolls over like, “Okay… I think I trust you… you may proceed.” And once you’re in? You’re in forever. 💛 💛 Personality: soft, gentle, and oh-so-sweet 💛 Favorite activity: belly rubs and quiet cuddles 💛 Secret talent: turning patience into the most rewarding bond you’ve ever had Rachel would truly thrive in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes and help her see that the world isn’t so scary after all—it’s actually pretty wonderful. She’s looking for a patient, kind-hearted person who will give her the time she needs to learn all the things many dogs take for granted… Like gentle pets. Kind words. Exciting little adventures. Learning to walk on a leash for neighborhood strolls Dinner in her very own bowl. And those magical things called treats She may start off a little unsure, but with love and patience, Rachel will blossom into the most loyal, loving little companion—one who will look at you like you hung the moon. And trust us… there is nothing sweeter than earning the love of a shy dog. Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you’re ready to show this precious girl that the world is safe, kind, and full of good things (especially belly rubs)… Rachel is ready to find her happily ever after 💕

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💛 Meet Dainty 💛 Hi, hey... hello! That's me, I’m Dainty 💕 female - 3yrs - 8lbs - chihuahua/xolo mix (best guess as my coat is very very short) And yes, I’m as delicate and adorable as my name suggests—3 years old, 8 pounds, long legs going on for days, and built like a tiny little deer. But don’t let my dainty looks fool you… I am a professional snuggler. Like, truly elite level. My favorite hobby? Easy. Cuddling with you. Under a blanket. Preferably a soft, fuzzy one. Okay fine… it’s my only hobby. And I’m really, really good at it. I love to burrow under blankets like a tiny burrito and nap the day away. If you work from home, I will happily clock in as your full-time coworker—my main responsibilities include napping beside your desk and making sure you take cuddle breaks. If you like binge watching TV? Perfect. I’ll be right there, tucked in next to you, judging your snack choices (and hoping you share). I’m house trained, crate trained, and I get along with pretty much everyone—both dogs and cats, but kids that are gentle... I'm especially fond of! I’m just a sweet, easygoing little girl who wants to be wherever my people are. I came from a hoarding situation with a home with a lot of other dogs, so I’m really happy to now have a quieter life where I can soak up all the love and attention. And trust me… I have a LOT of love to give. Oh! And I’m very treat motivated. Like… very. If there were a gold medal for “cutest dog accepting snacks,” I would already have it. My dream home? Someone who’s around a lot—maybe you’re retired or work from home—who wouldn’t mind a tiny, warm shadow following you from room to room and then burrowing under the nearest blanket. So… if you’ve been thinking your life could use more cuddles, more sweetness, and one very adorable blanket gremlin… I think we might be perfect for each other. Apply today, like right now, at haydudeequine.org 💛
