Meet Nacho a Small Dog. Big Attitude. Even Bigger Heart. At just 1 year old, Nacho may be pint sized, but he packs a whole lot of personality into his tiny frame. Found as a stray, he is now on the hunt for a forever home that understands the classic Chihuahua charm a little sass, a lot of loyalty, and a whole bunch of I run this place energy. True to his breed, Nacho is alert, smart, and incredibly devoted once he decides you are his person. He might give you a skeptical side-eye at first he has got standards, okay but once you are in his inner circle, he will follow you like a shadow and protect you from rogue leaves, suspicious delivery people, and possibly your own reflection. What Nacho brings to the table, 6 pounds of pure determination, a bark that says I may be small, but I’m in charge, velcro dog tendencies lap required, cuddles mandatory and a bonus side eye and dramatic flair at no extra charge. Nacho gets along well with other respectful small dogs, but he is not afraid to let the big dogs know who is boss. He would thrive in a home where he can be the star of the show or at least co captain. Due to his tiny size and bold spirit, he may do best with adults or older kids who understand Chihuahua manners. This boy attaches himself to one person and needs to go to a one owner home. Nacho is spicy, snuggly, and ready to upgrade your life with equal parts comedy and cuddles. Come meet himbut be warned once he chooses you, there is no going back. He does great with children of all ages and enjoys being around people, though he can be a little shy at first. Give him a few minutes and maybe a gentle hello, and he will warm up into the most loving little companion. Once Crowley feels comfortable, he is all about the cuddles! He loves being close and soaking up affection, and he is slowly discovering that toys can be pretty fun too especially when playtime comes with encouragement and praise. He is still learning the basics of potty training, but with consistency and a good routine, this smart little guy will do great. He’ll be turning 5 this September and still has plenty of playful energy, especially when it comes to fetch, which is his absolute favorite. He does great both on and off leash and loves being active. Otis has been around cats and mostly minds his own business, though he can get a little curious at times. He’s crate trained, very smart, and eager to please. The fastest way to win him over? Plush toys and a good walk. Due to recent life changes, I’m looking for a new home that can better match his energy and give him the time and space he deserves. Cilantro is a happy girl that is both blind and deaf, and not yet housebroken. She is fostered in Illinios. Meet Cilantro! Cilantro is an easygoing little girl; a gentle soul looking for love. Cilantro is a senior, both blind and deaf. Sadly, she was found wandering around on her own, but those days are over! She loves to sleep the day and night away. And who doesn't love a good cuddle?! Cilantro loves a good cuddle and kisses but will let you know when she isn't in the mood to be picked up by moving her legs a lot. She loves to burrow herself under a soft, fuzzy blanket. I call this her version of hide and seek. She tends to grunt and bark at times out of frustration and to let you know when she is hungry for food/snack or thirsty. And she makes the cutest sounds! This little one is special due to little grunts (sounds like a human) and how she has to work up her bark. Cilantro is ready for her forever home! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
