Hello there! We're Alexia and Illius, an inseparable duo on a mission to find our forever home together. Alexia is a sweet 4-year-old Chihuahua, and Illius is a playful 3-year-old Maltese. Alexia is the epitome of sweetness-she loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for cuddles and showering you with affection. Her gentle nature and charming personality will melt your heart instantly. She's also quite the cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling up close whenever possible. On the other paw, Illius is our playful little guy! At 3 years old, he's full of energy and enthusiasm. He adores playtime-whether it's chasing after toys, playing fetch, or simply romping around the yard, he's always ready for fun and adventure. Despite his playful antics, Illius has a tender side and loves being near his humans, especially when it's time for some well-deserved pets and scratches. Together, we make a dynamic duo that brings joy and laughter wherever we go. We're also great with kids and enjoy their company, making us a wonderful addition to a family looking for furry companions who adore children. We're hoping to find a loving home where we can stay together forever. We're both spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to become cherished members of your family. Unfortunately, Jelly’s owner became ill and was unable to care for him. Another family member took over but he was also unable to care for him and brought him to the Oasis. Jelly is estimated to be around 7-8 years old, so technically a senior but he almost certainly has another 10 years left in him. He’s about 9 lbs as well. He’s good with other dogs but prefers to be with calmer dogs as he can get overwhelmed by more rambunctious ones. He’s good with cats as well and would likely do well with slightly older children who won’t overwhelm him either. Unlike most chihuahuas, he doesn’t bark at strangers and is more than happy to be picked up by anyone. He also appears to be house trained and hasn’t had any accidents or marked around the house. He’s also got the silliest little bark/howl! He is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be heartworm tested and neutered on April 17th. The cost is included in his adoption fee

Benji is a black and white male Chihuahua, Short-Haired mix. He is approximately 2 years old. Benji is a sweet boy but takes his time to warm up to new people. He does not like being around children. Benji has had positive experiences with dogs and cats. His favorite toy is Teddy Bears! He is crate trained and potty trained and will run to the door when he needs to go outside. Benji has been described as talkative, a lap dog, very energetic, independent, full of kisses, and a jumper. He can be a very excitable boy and has been known to paw you and bite playfully. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30 – 4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
