You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.My name is Vin Diesel and I'm a senior, male chihuahua.  I just had a dental so my teeth are in pretty okay shape now.  I'm great with other dogs and cats and also respectful kids.  I'm of course hoping to enjoy my retirement ages in a calmer home though.  I walk very well on a leash and love going for car rides.  I'm also potty trained and know my basic commands.  I have great manners and would make an amazing addition to most households.  I'm fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Max is a great dog loves to play and loves his bones! We have had issues with potty training since the beginning. For the most part he is okay with going potty outside but he wears a diaper inside as he likes to mark around the house. He is also an escape artist so we always take him out on a leash. He’s a great dog. But unfortunately we cannot keep him, and we are looking to rehome him. He knows how to sit, give paw and roll over. He is great with kids too

Meet Scout, an adorable 20lb Terrier/Chi/Cattle Dog type mix who came from local animal control as an unclaimed stray. He is a sweet boy who loves to be with people and receive attention. He knows sit and paw and will happily offer those commands whenever you would like, sometimes even when you are not asking for them. Scout has lots of energy and is working on leash manners. Because of his dog reactivity, he will need some work on walks. A fenced yard would be great for him. He does love to run around and sniff in the grass. He can tend to grab the leash to try to tug or be a little mouthy when he gets excited. He is looking for a home with no children or other pets.

Marty is an adorable senior Chihuahua mix, who is about 10 years old and around 20lbs. He was adopted out from WCHS in 2023 and was recently returned due to his owner having health issues. He’s back at the shelter, loving all the staff and volunteers but he really wants to be in a home again. He loves to lounge around with people or in a comfy dog bed. While Marty is dog and kid friendly, he does get protective to guard his human in a home environment, so he is looking for a home as the only pet. Marty walks pretty well on leash and does enjoy rolling in the grass for belly rubs too.Marty's adoption fee has been generously sponsored!
