Story
🌟 OREO: SMALL BOY. BIG FEELINGS. EPIC FLOOF. 🌟 Behold, the mythical creature you've been searching for: Meet Oreo – 50% eyeballs, 50% floof, 100% certified heart thief. 🐾 Vital Stats: 🔹 Breed: Technically Chihuahua (but spiritually? Maybe a marshmallow in disguise) 🔹 Age: 3 years (grown-up enough to skip the puppy chaos, but still young enough for zoomies) 🔹 Size: Snack-sized in stature, full-meal in personality 🔹 Adoption Fee: $300 – aka the price of pure joy wrapped in fluff and tiny toe beans 💫 Why Oreo Is Basically a Legend: He’s what we lovingly call a Chihuahua defector. Oreo is good with cats, other small dogs, and prefers the company of women. He’s not a fan of small kids or men but is rewriting the chihuahua playbook—less drama, more snuggles. 👑 His Royal Floofness Is Currently: A little shy and still learning that the world isn’t so scary (but he’s getting braver every day!) Observant, and the best lap accessory you didn’t know you needed. Rocking some of the best ears in the game—satellite dish chic. 💌 What He Needs: A patient person who will give him the space to bloom at his own pace. Oreo needs someone fearless who can help him gain confidence, along with a cozy corner, a warm lap, and an understanding that even the smallest dogs can have the biggest hearts. Are you the chosen one to help this pint-sized prince find his confidence? Adopt Oreo—because good things come in smol, fuzzy packages. 📩 Apply now before someone else snags this pocket-sized unicorn! #AdoptOreo #TinyButMighty #FloofyAndFearless #ChihuahuaMagic #SmolDogBigMood #AdoptRescueFoster

We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption.Aliyah is about 2-3 years old, spayed, up to date on all vetting, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is 150. Aliyah came to us from a neglect case and has been with a foster for a few months now to help her come out of her shell. She is used to living with other dogs around her size or smaller. She can be timid meeting new dogs but as long as the dog is friendly and gives her time to adjust she does very well. Aliyah is a very fearful dog when in new situations and meeting new people and can be especially fearful of men. Once she trusts someone she does become very attached but she will need a lot of TLC and patience to trust another new person in a new environment. She can be reactive in moments of fear, or protective of her person with strangers. She will need continued training through her trust issues with a confident owner who has experience working with dogs who may have experienced trauma. She is not an appropriate fit for a home with children. Aliyah enjoys walks, stuffed toys, treats, and is affectionate once you've gained her trust.

Sweet, Spicy, and Full of Personality! This girl is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy! She’s a medium-to-high energy pup who loves attention and is always ready to snuggle—especially right by your head. Whether she’s entertaining herself or playing with others, she’s a joy to have around. Stella is approximately 35lbs. Everyone who meets her says she's bigger than expected. She’s both kennel and house trained, and while she gets a little excited on walks and may pull at times, she’s learning quickly. She's a smart cookie and very food motivated, which makes training a breeze. Looking for a loving, playful companion with a big heart and a little sass? She’s your girl! Stella's adoption fee is $200. This fee includes her vaccinations, microchip, heartworm testing, and spay. To meet Stella fill out an adoption application at www.lucky13rescue.org.
