Story
He needs someone who can spend more time than I have available. I’m going to school full time while also being a full time solo mom. He came to me from someone who supposedly had him pad trained but he never was consistent, and I tried to train him outside but he refuses to go outside here(busy street constant traffic scares him). He absolutely hates being home alone but has to be in a crate because he freaks out and scratches door ways. He also hates the crate he barks the whole time I’m gone. He just isn’t happy and I don’t have the knowledge or skills to deal with the separation anxiety or house training issues. He’s a good dog otherwise. I just can’t have him peeing and pooping wherever with a toddler. He needs way more time than I can give him and he deserves someone who can maybe be with him all day training and caring for him. He would do better with someone who needs a companion but also has patience and knowledge on training and separation anxiety issues.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Coco &. are two very bonded sisters that cannot be separated.  They play together and sleep together.  And they do play with the other foster dogs big and small.  Neither are yippers like some chihuahua's.  They love to run zoomies in the backyard and explore. Coco is the bigger girl at 8 pounds and Canela is 5 pounds, both are a little over 1 years old and not going to get any bigger.  As long as I am moving around the house they move around but the moment I sit down to rest they are all over me to get their nap in.  I guess it makes them comfortable to cuddle up with me and go to sleep.  They are not velcro dog, pretty independent but for sure are cuddlers, especially the smaller girl, Canela. These girls were owner surrendered to me after their mother suffered some medical issues and could no longer care for them.  Both are chocolate but Coco is darker in color.  I have more pictures to provide and will get a video to share. If you are interested in adopting both girls, please submit an application on the website below.  Their adoption fee of $400 is for the pair.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         February 22, 2026, 3:29 pm

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Get ready for some fun to come into your house and your heart.  DORY will add some joy and excitement in you as she is just a spit-fire with a little gip and dip in her dance!! DORY is 5 months old and weighs 8 pounds, for sure she will remain a small breed dog as she only weighed 1.8 pounds at 3 months when I got her.  She is a Chihuahua mix and we are not sure what she is mixed with.   DORY loves wrestling and running and playing with all of the dogs in the house.  If you are her size, she has a good time rolling around and just playing tag with the other dog.  If there is a bigger dog in the house, expect DORY to crawl all over the dog, give kisses and just be a pretty pest in the best way possible. She is very smart and watches everything that is going on.  She understands completely what she should and should not be doing.  Currently there are lots of toys in the house and she has not shown a need to chew on personal items but she loves to chew on bully sticks and other hard chew toys. DORY would do best in a home with a pet playmate and not as a single dog as she will get bored and lonely.  Her mission is to play, play, nap, eat and play some more.  She is a great cuddler. If you are interested in adopting DORY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org   She is also potty trained but may have an accident if not let out often enough.  She is also crate trained but she does not like to go in there, she wants to be with you.     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
