Good with adults? Yes Good with kids? Unknown Good with other dogs? Yes Good with cats? Unknown House trained? Yes Crate Trained? Yes Energy Level? Medium Barker? Yes About Dobby: Sweet little Dobby is still very much a young, energetic puppy at heart. She loves to run and play, and doing her little zoomies, but she is also content to sit with you and snuggle as well. Dobby is a bit nervous of new people, but once she warms up to you, she loves to play and cuddle, and will curl up in your lap for a snooze. She barks at new people, especially men, out of fear and will need some gentle reassurance and patience to show her that people can be trusted. Dobby absolutely loves to play with other dogs! She is very submissive, but she is still very young and full of energy so playing with dogs that can match her energy is best. Dobby would love to have another confident dog in the home to learn from but is also okay being an only doggo. Dobby is learning to enjoy walks and walks well on a leash but is a bit nervous of loud noises still. Dobby is pad trained and is very consistent using her puppy pads. With some training, she could be transitioned to going outside to do her business. Dobby is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. Dobby is still very much a puppy that loves to play with toys and is very eager to learn. She is looking for a loving and patient family that will love on her, give her endless cuddles and lots of toys to play with! ***Woof.. Please know that the rescue has posted all the information that they have on me here. As my foster family gets to know me they will post updates, so please check back! If you are interested in me please fill out an application at www.petsaliveniagara.ca/adopt and one of my friends will get back to you within 2 to 5 business days.***"

Read about our adoption process on our website. Mochi is an active and playful girl who enjoys sniffing treats out from puzzles, playing with balls and squeaky toys, going for walks, romping in the backyard, and giving kisses. She is looking for a home where she receives plenty of pets, ear scratches, and can exercise her alert instincts. She gets along great with other dogs and would actually thrive with a companion. Shes smart, already knows how to sit, and is fully potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained.Ideal Home according to foster: The ideal home would be with someone who is retired or works from homesomeone who has the time and energy to take her on walks, visit the park, and play fetch with her. I believe she would do well in a home with children and other pets, but she could also thrive as the only pet. Mochi is smart and highly food-motivated, making her a great fit for someone committed to continuing her training. I've already taught her to sit, stay, walk on a leash, and she's been kennel and house trained.Name: MochiBreed: Chihuahua mixAge: ~1 yearWeight: ~16lbSex: Female, spayedColour: CreamMedical: No concerns Good with men: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with women: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with kids 0-6: Unknown, no exposureGood with kids 6+: Yes, but has not lived with kids Good with dogs: Yes, happy to co-exist with other dogsGood with cats: Yes, has lived with a cat successfully (foster)House trained: YesCrate trained: Yes, but may whine/bark until she settles Resource guarding: May get possessive of her people from other dogs Walks on a leash: Yes, walks well Energy level: Medium-HighRequires detached/single home: Preferred single home and not within a city environment Separation anxiety: Possibly - she likes to be with her foster mom at all times Barker: Average

Read about our adoption process on our website. This little angel is as sweet as they come. Given the chance she will sit on her foster mom's lap as she work for ages. She is fearful of strangers, but with a kind slow approach she warms up very quickly. She loves to play with her buddy Aries and makes herself 'small' around the bigger dogs. She is best with medium energy dogs her size or a bit larger. Arielle is looking for a child-free home, as she is fearful of quick movements. Areas to work on include confidence building and learning to walk on a leash. This is a sweet little princess deserving of the very best home who will be patient with her and help her thrive!Ideal home according to foster: A home where she will be the center of attention with plenty of lap time and treats! Story
*This dog is scheduled to arrive in Grimsby, Ontario the evening of Friday, September 27*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. From Bruce's his foster mom: Bruce has surprised me. Within a day of being here he was in and out of the crate (door open) often looking for me. He was found wandering the mean streets of Houston but due to his loving nature, I believe he was an owned dog not too long ago. The finder had him for a few weeks and all efforts were made to find an owner, but to no avail. Bruce has the most luxurious wavy coat you will ever see on a little dog. The vet felt he was a long hair chihuahua, but i'm not sure. He is not barky or snippy like many chihuahuas can be. He is more like a Golden retriever that someone put in the dryer and shrunk. His tail is long and fluffy, but the soft waves in his coat make me want to pet him all day long - and he does not mind one bit. He is happy to check things out all around the house and yard, but he is not prone to zoomies. Perhaps as he continues to adjust they will come out! He's a super sweet guy, was a fan favourite at the vet and ready as he can be for a fabulous forever home. Ideal Home: Family with older kids, a couple or single person. He loves attention so people willing to give him lots of love. He does not require a ton of exercise. He is calm and loving and will do best around calm and loving people. Name: BruceBreed: Chihuahua mixed Age: ~1-3 years old Weight: ~11lbSex: Male, neutered prior to adoptionColour: TanMedical: No concerns Good with men: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with women: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with kids 0-6: Unknown, no exposure Good with kids 6+: Yes, but has not lived with kids - prefer older kids as he can be shy Good with dogs: Yes, happy to co-exist with other dogs. He seems more comfy with the other littles and my older big calm, ones rather than younger very active dogs. Good with cats: Unknown, no exposure - but likely would do wellHouse trained: Almost perfectly house trained - about 90% there. He has marked, but is not yet neutered Crate trained: Yes, enters crate willingly and settles quickly Resource guarding: None seen Walks on a leash: Yes, nervousEnergy level: MediumRequires detached/single home: NoSeparation anxiety: None notedBarker: Average

Story
Rosalina is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Rosalina was an owner surrender with her sister Luma. Rosalina is approximately 7 years old and a chunky overweight 16 pounds. She definitely needs some exercise and to be on a diet. Rosalina was very nervous when she first came in, but she is extremely sweet. Rosalina is a submissive dog and she gets along with all dogs, cats and kids. Rosalina walks well on leash. I still have not heard her bark. She is potty trained, travels well in the car, loves people and attention. She’s not a huge fan of change or chaos and it makes her nervous. She is not as confident as her sister and she would prefer a home that is pretty low-key without a lot of change. She is a quiet and easy going dog with a gentle demeanor and a huge heart just waiting to learn to love again. Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given.
