Bella is a senior female chihuahua/mix. She is 14 year’s old and weigh’s 9.3 lbs. She is housebroken and kennel trained. Does get along with other dog’s, but rather eat alone. She is a shy girl and take’s her time getting to know you but once she does is a BIG lover baby. After breakfast her favorite thing to do is sleep under the cover’s. Once she is out she is out. She does have one eye that has cataract’s so she will pull away. Just come at her on the other side. She does need help on and off the bed. She is still playful and full of life. Excellent lover baby. Her adoption fee $150 covers her medical care up to adoption, microchip, spay, foster care and transportation to NY where she is now in foster care. Meet Alvin (12 pounds), a small senior boy looking for a home (and a hula hoop) for the holidays! Alvin can be slow to warm up to new people and tends to be picky about new friends in general. Once he is comfortable with you, be prepared to have a little shadow! With his buddies, Alvin loves to be doted on, held and petted (but please don’t assume he wants your friends to do the same). This bonded pair of Yorkie mixes (Chorkies), male and female, have been together since they were born (NOT recommended by this or most any other rescue, by the way!) and their owner could no longer care for them. They are friendly with each other and people and are doing great with the other dogs in their foster homes. They are not good with cats. They're outside and pee pad trained, according to the previous owner, and the male is neutered. We are getting the female in at our vet for spay and microchip, and for both of them to get up to date on all vaccines. The adoption fee of $600 is for both dogs and they're both about 12 lbs and 6 years old. (the updated pics are after they got their face trimmed up and groomed a bit, which was needed! They'll be back to cuter in no time!) 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). Basement Puppy - Cocoa Hello there! My name is Cocoa and I am the smallest one of my litter of 5 puppies who were born under a house. It was nice and cozy for a while, but then we got rescued at 5 weeks and came to our foster mom. Our mom was a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. Mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. We love being with our foster mom and playing with the different dogs at the house. One thing you should know is that I can walk through puppy gates as I am that small. So I regularly leave the puppy room and go to the back to see the chihuahua named Busy Boots and the poodles who hang out there. It is fun! Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I favor the chihuahua side I think. I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you?
