Story
Pinky is 1 years old. When we rescued her we were told she came from a hoarding case. Because of this, she is very shy and a little nervous around people. She has also already had puppies. She’s been nothing but calm and collected since we adopted her. She loves to burrow in blankets and loves to be in her crate. She is potty trained and house broken. She doesn’t bark, whine or cause any sort of chaos. She is very mellow and loves to relax and cuddle. She really hates the cold and snow though, so she’ll beg you to not make her go outside. We can do $350 if you want all of the stuff we have for her. She will come with her crate, beds and food bowls. We also have a whole bag of food and treats you can have as well.

Coco loves her walks and will even tell her foster mom when it’s walk time! This little Chihuahua mix is happy to nap on the couch or go for a long walk - as long as she’s with her person. She does well with her foster cat siblings. She is good with respectful older kids but hasn’t been tested around toddlers. We are working on potty training and she is almost there! Story
Johnny was found at a park in about 7 years ago. At that time, we made efforts to locate his owner, but when we were unable to do so, we decided to keep him. Johnny loves to snuggle, take naps under blankets and bask in the sun. He is not a very active dog and prefers to lounge around and sleep. Based on our best estimate, Johnny is around 12 years old. Since we’ve had him, we have never been able to fully housebreak him. He must wear diapers while inside the house. Since the birth of our first child two years ago, caring for Johnny has become increasingly stressful. With a second child on the way, we feel that we are no longer able to give Johnny the time, attention, and care that he deserves.

Charlie just turned 3 years old — a birthday she spent, once again, behind the walls of the shelter she’s called home for almost a year and a half. 🥀She’s a beautiful Rottweiler/Retriever mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul… but you’ll have to earn the chance to see that side of her. Charlie struggles with meeting new people — the world hasn’t always been kind to her — but if someone could just give her a few chances, visit her a couple of times, sit quietly nearby and let her heart unfold on its own… they’d find the most loyal, gentle, loving dog waiting underneath the fear. 💔Once she trusts you, she’s pure sunshine — a snuggly, kiss-giving, tail-wagging angel who will follow you anywhere. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and loves to stretch her legs running around the yard before curling up in a soft bed or a pile of blankets. She doesn’t care much for toys — she just wants love, safety, and someone to finally stay. 🐾Charlie has done well with some dogs here, but she takes her time getting comfortable — both with people and other pets. She’d do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with no young kids or cats.She’s a staff and volunteer favorite because we’ve seen the real her — the dog that greets you with kisses, melts into your lap, and looks at you like you’re her entire world. 🌙We keep telling her that her person is out there. That someone will see past the nerves and realize what a once-in-a-lifetime dog she truly is. This is Jax, and he’s hurting in a way dogs can’t explain.Jax is an older guy who lost the only home he ever knew when his owner passed away. One day he had a person, a routine, and a place where he belonged… and the next, he was here. He didn’t do anything wrong. His world just disappeared.Even now, Jax still has so much life in him. He’s surprisingly energetic for his age, a little spunky, a little quirky, and full of personality. He seems to enjoy other dogs and does well with kids, and you can tell he wants connection — he just doesn’t know how to ask for it yet.Jax also tested positive for heartworm, but the good news is he’s almost finished with treatment. He’s been so brave through it all, quietly enduring vet visits and rest when he didn’t understand why his life had changed so drastically.Older dogs like Jax are often overlooked. They wait longer. They watch people walk past. But Jax isn’t done living or loving.
