Story

Tank is almost 10 and healthy. He is the only pet in my home so I am unsure how he would handle other animals around. He is an anxious pet and does not do well around children and takes some warming up to new people. He would be best suited in a home with adults only who have experience with an anxious dog with a chihuahua attitude when spooked. He likes to follow his human around everywhere, napping, and playing with his favorite toy. He is very loved and only rehoming due to moving into a home with small children.

This devoted duo is perfect for an adult-only household where they can enjoy the company and attention they cherish (no other pets is ideal). Milo and June Bug are house-trained and crate-trained, comfortable with their routines but may need have accidents during extreme weather. While initially shy around new people and dogs, their cautious behavior stems from a place of fear, and a gentle, patient approach will allow their true, affectionate nature to shine through. Milo is in overall good health. Keeping up with regular dental cleanings is important for him. He's protective and deeply affectionate, often sticking close like a true 'Velcro dog.' Meet Whiskey!! Whiskey is a 1 yr old Chihuahua mix weighing 9.5 lbs. Whiskey is in a fantastic foster home and is doing great with his house-training. He is crate-trained and knows a few commands. Whiskey is super loving and wants to be a lap dog ;-) He is very smart and learns fast. Whiskey likes other dogs. The foster does not have a cat, so cats are unknown. Whiskey is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a GREAT little dog. If you are interested in Whiskey, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Whiskey would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process.
