Baxter is a sweet little 6# boy who was dropped off to me at 3 weeks old.  He was dumped on a Good Samaritan’s front porch late at night.  He loves people, dogs and toys.  He needs a resident dog since he didn’t have a mama or siblings from a young age.  He needs this so he can learn how to be a pup and so the other dog can teach him right from wrong.  I won’t make exceptions with this so please only fill out an application if you have another dog.  He’s going thru his puppy mouthy stage right now but is learning that teeth are for eating and chewing toys, not fingers.  We are unsure of his exact breed mix but he will end up being a smaller pup.  His adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention.  To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.  All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed. COME MEET ME AND MY FRIENDS at our next ADOPTION EVENT at Mitchell's One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning (1750 Moore Road in Avon, Ohio) on Saturday, June 3rd from 11am - 2pm during their car show! We can't wait to meet you! Cliff was born in a shed in southern Ohio. Unsafe conditions resulted in a humane visit, and he was released to the care of animal control, eventually finding his way to MBR. Little Cliff was recently neutered and had surgery to correct an umbilical hernia, and is now ready to find his forever home. Cliff was born at the end of January and came to MBR weighing around 3 pounds. He is expected to stay small. As he's still a puppy, he is not an ideal companion for an elderly person looking for a lap dog. He wants to run and play, even if he's tiny. Cliff is not a fan of being held and cuddled; he would rather explore the world and everything it has to offer. He's not leash trained yet and is still working on potty training, and needs to learn that furniture and shoes are not chew toys. Cliff occasionally guards the food bowl from his brother so may do well with an adult dog to teach him appropriate manners. He barks during play and when new people enter the home or knock at the door. When considering adoption, please take into account the needs and best interest of the dog. Things like energy level, socialization needs, and life span should be considered when determining if a dog is a good fit. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. age: 3 months adoption fee: $500

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ACTIVE EXPERIENCED ADOPTER NEEDEDMy name is Beau, "BoBo" to my friends! I am a 17 pound 2 years old. My family sent me to the rescue to find a new home because six children were just too much for me and I was too much for them. I was nippy with the youngest ones and for everyone's safety it was time to move on. I was traumatized when I first came to my foster mom's house, but now I am relaxed and enjoying a calm setting.  I like to play with my nyla bone, rope toys and stuffed squeaky toys. I have the cutest under bite and I love to snuggle with my foster mom. There are other small dogs here and I have adapted to them, it took a while for me to learn how to interact, because I had never been around other dogs. I am very reactive to new people and situations and will bark and show fear aggression. I can be worked through this, if you have experience at socializing reactive dogs. It will be a work in progress to help me. On the other hand ,a country home without a lot of people activity, would be lovely. I  have been going out on adventures with a wonderful volunteer who can take me for brisk walks to expend some of my energy and I learned to look forward to seeing her now that we have had a few walks together.
