My name is Biscuit. According to the veterinarian, I am one year old and I weigh 18 lbs. I'm a stocky little fellow, a little on the chunky side. I am neutered, up today on my rabies and dhpp vaccines, and I am heartworm negative . I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. Because my owners are gone so long during the day, I am puppy pad trained. I will potty outside though if taken out. I am good with other dogs and children. I have been around toddlers and infants. I'm not sure about cats because the rescue does not have any. I will bark at a cat if I see one, but will stop barking after a few minutes. I love to play fetch and will bring back to you whatever you throw. I also love belly rubs and will roll over on command for one. I come when I'm called and I know how to sit. I will also walk on my hind legs for a treat. I walked on a leash for the first time for my video. As you can see, I did pretty good. I am very smart and I learn quickly. I love to be with people! I will follow my owner around the house and will snuggle up in the chair with him in the evening. I am very curious and attentive as to what my people are doing. I have I submissive temperament and a happy personality! I am well behaved in the house. I don't try to get in the trash or chew anything up. I have a medium energy level. I have a second video on the rescue website. My name is Chichi! I was born 11/1. I currently weigh 6 pounds.(2/16). I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina, but easy, affordable transportation is available. I am a fun loving, happy little girl! I love to play with toys, other dogs, or anything that I can find on the floor or ground. The rescue is not sure how I am with cats because they don’t have any. I may bark at one, but I’m certainly not big enough to hurt one though. I love to be with people and will follow my foster all over the house. One of my favorite things to do is take long naps snuggled up in her lap. My foster is in a wheelchair and I have learned to stay clear of it. My ears are just starting to stand up. They were not standing up in my pictures/videos yet. Those were taken mid February. I am a pretty energetic little girl, so I will need lots of toys to keep me busy. I would love to have a little playmate even more! I will bring lots of entertainment. and lots of love to my new family. I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home! Princess Almond sure knows what it is like to be pampered. She likes to be catered to, does things at her own pace, when she is ready and when she is up to it. She can be a little shy when people she doesn’t know approach her too quickly, or when she is in places she is unfamiliar with. That said, at other times, she will surprise you by greeting new people with her butt wiggling. She will walk right up to the strangers, butt wiggles and all and solicit attention and affection. She doesn’t like to be picked up and sat in your lap when she isn’t the one to initiate it. However, when she feels like lap snuggles, she doesn’t care if you’re ready for it, she will leap in your lap and park herself there for snuggles and butt caresses. She also likes curling up next to you in bed. When you are not home, Almond will sprawl out on your bed, because you know, it is hers, she just lets you lay in it. Although she is crate trained, she doesn’t need to be crated if home alone. She doesn’t get into things. She will nap or busy herself with chew toys like small benebones. Almond is 2.5 years old, 25lb Chihuahua mix. She is looking for a quiet home where she has a quiet, private Princess chamber to escape to. A home with older kids and dogs would be ideal for Almond. Almond is house and crate trained, she loves car rides.

She is a playful 1.5 year old who wants to please. She is easily trained and will do best with continued training to help focus her energy. Saylor is a hunter from the inside....she will spend hours at a window watching wildlife (especially chipmunks), and she has a large bark when she sees something moving outside. She has tried to escape her foster’s fence to chase chipmunks. Saylor will be happiest where she can be active and get a lot of exercise. Her confidence and trust in humans has grown substantially but she needs a gentle hand from those around her to maintain this trust. Saylor gets along with other dogs, she loves to be the center of attention, she is people-oriented and highly attentive to her surroundings. She also settles quickly to cuddle and absorb love.
