Adoptions are not first come, first served; we review prescreens to find the best fit for her. Please do not call the shelter about adopting. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Meet Princess Peach! Small girl, big heart, and three little legs ready to carry her into her forever home. Princess Peach is under 2 years old and weighs less than 10 pounds. After an untreated injury, her right rear leg had to be amputated—but this sweet girl still loves to play, explore, and enjoy life! Her foster mom describes her as a quiet, sweet little doodlebug. She loves her toys, playing with falling leaves, and having someone beside her in the yard. Tell her “Good girl!” and you’ll make her whole day. Peach currently lives happily with a mellow, older, 80-pound dog! She also enjoys greeting people and dogs passing by her yard. She handles low outdoor steps well, but indoor stairs are still a work in progress. In the meantime, she’s learned “pack your bag” and hops into a canvas tote for a lift from her foster mom. Her own royal transportation! Peach will need a patient family to continue her potty routine, help build her confidence, and work on puppy habits like chewing and mouthing hands. Rainy potty breaks require a little moral support—this princess would much rather be inside where it’s warm! She’ll also need safe outdoor supervision and help maintaining a healthy weight to support her three legs. This happy little companion has so much love to give. Chanel is a good dog 4 year old dog that I rescued from a shelter but I have another chihuahua and my OTHER chihuahua bullies Chanel. They do not get along. Chanel is not good around kids and hides from men. Chanel has bit my daughter (my daughter is 35 yrs old) while my daughter was babysitting her. The bite wasn’t bad but my daughter doesn’t want to watch her anymore. I have to start traveling and can’t find anyone to babysit Chanel.
