Pollin is a happy, friendly guy who is happy to make friends with everyone he meets. He is a velcro pup for sure, and he is more than happy to make himself at home in your arms or in your lap. Pollin isn't ready to retire to the couch potato life yet, and would enjoy an outlet for his moderate energy level. Pollin does well with other dogs and would enjoy a doggy playmate at home. We are guessing on her breeds based on her size and appearance and expect her to be a smaller dog. This little pretty has not had an easy go of it, as she spent many days in emergency care for Parvo and then some (over $8,000 in vet bills!) Pretty Girl is healthy now and making up for lost time. She is a petite princess and can sometimes be bossy with other dogs. She has had some exposure to cats in her current foster home. The cats there do not put up with dog nonsense. She is ready to have all your attention to herself. She can be a little timid and unsure so she will need to have your heart and your time. Because of her rough past, she can be a flight risk. She will need a physical 3 foot fenced yard that she cannot escape from and since she is so tiny, their can't be any spaces she will fit through. Pretty Girl is still working on leash training so a secured area will be the safest place to get her used to her new family and a leash. Just be patient with her and you won’t be disappointed. This remarkable little girl came to DASH with several other dogs when their owner passed away unexpectedly. She is tiny and her biggest characteristic is she is missing part of her front paw, which we believe she was born that way. It doesn't cause her any pain and she uses it just fine. This little one has endured quite a lot since coming to DASH, as she was diagnosed with kidney stones, several rather large ones at that for a pup so tiny, and had to have surgery to have them all removed. She is now totally healed up and you'd never know the pain she was in. She is extremely shy, and loves to just be carried around by her foster mom. She also does not really like being outside, and expresses her dislike for that by just using pee pads. She has a very humorous bark that she uses on larger dogs, as she is very fearful of them, but is fine with smaller dogs. She would be great for a senior looking for a constant companion. Due to her small size, young children are not recommended. She has ignored the cat in her foster home. Put in your application to meet Sugar today! This sweet boy was set to be euthanized at a rural shelter before DASH came to the rescue! He is just a super sweet, laid back boy, who wants to be wherever his human is. He follows his current foster mom around everywhere and will even sit on the table while she is working. He does really well with the other dogs and cat in the home as well. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is working on his leash manners, so his new home will need to continue to work on those or have a fenced in area he can just go out in.
