About Willy: Willy was found tied to a person’s door as a very young puppy. Beyond this there is no background information. His sibling in another tied bag did not survive. Willy is a true mix but as much as we can tell with his slight frame, he is a mix of chihuahua. If you are a chihuahua lover, look no further. He has a short blond coat with a touch of white on his paws. Willy is just a bundle of puppy energy. Loving beyond words, adoring everything and all people. He loves to investigate. He was born in September of this year so is a youngster and acts like one. Active and busy describe his character best. He is self entertaining with his love of toys, especially crinkle or squeaky ones. When it is down time, he will snuggle on your lap or a doggy bed to recoup his energy for the next round. Willy is not yet leash trained. Our weather here has been somewhat of a hindrance. Willy is not the fondest of the cold so he needs continuing encouragement to learn to potty outside. I am positive that once the cold diminishes, this will be a lot easier. A crate is only provided for nighttime sleep and he is quiet until he hears the morning rumblings of the household. After 7 pm and Willy is ready for nighttime. He eats his kibble with gusto, currently three times a day. He can be a companion to another fun-loving dog or can be on his own as long as his people are home with him and engage him in activities. If you have lots of time and energy to give to Willy, he will undoubtedly keep up with you. He is a self-assured little dude that will bring joy to his permanent home companions. Questions?
