QUICK FACTS  Name: Yeowoo Age: About 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua Mix Color: Brown and White Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was on the list for euthanasia at a crowded city pound, but I was rescued just in time by kind people! I am looking forward to starting a new journey with my forever family!     MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  Hi, I’m Yeowoo. I’m not simply shy—I’m thoughtful and cautious. I take a little time to adjust to new people and new environments, but my true nature is very gentle and sweet. I may hesitate at first, yet I genuinely love people. If you quietly watch and patiently wait for me, I’ll gather my courage and slowly come closer on my own. Before you know it, I’ll be sitting beside you as if I’ve always belonged there. I express myself well—I calmly approach, show my belly, and happily offer my paw. I welcome gentle touches and accept affection without resistance once I feel safe. I’m very small, quiet, and calm, with a healthy love for treats. If you can give me a moment to open my heart, I promise you’ll see just how loving I truly am.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I am cautious in the beginning and may be timid and shy, but with a bit of time and delicious treats, I become comfortable and open up. Then, I can be held in your arms. And this is a secret, and I don’t show this to anyone, but once we become friends, I will show you my cute little belly. · With Dogs: I like playing with my dog friends, especially with those of my size. I rely on my friends for support so I will thrive in a home with a friend that I can rely on. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I like to play outside, and I also like to snuggle and cuddle inside afterwards! I am experienced with walks and I have excellent leash manners! There may be times when I get scared, then I lie flat on the ground.     TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from other people or dogs. I rarely bark.  I am calm when I am placed in the kennel. I am trained to potty both indoors and outdoors.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I’m a dog who just needs a little time at the beginning. With patience and understanding, I’ll become an incredibly devoted and tender companion. I will thrive in a home that has a dog friend that I can rely on for support.   Yeowoo's Youtube Playlsit    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2666602##

Story
QUICK FACTS  Name: Buzz Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Chihuahua mix  Color: Black, Brown, White Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I once had a family who loved me, but due to serious health challenges and cancer treatments, they were no longer able to care for me. I was left tied up with just a bag of food, confused and waiting for my family to come back. It was a scary and lonely time, but my story didn’t end there. Kind rescuers noticed my situation and wrapped me in the warmth and safety I had been missing. Now I’m safe, cared for, and learning every day what it feels like to be truly loved again. I’m ready to leave the past behind and start a beautiful new chapter with a forever family who will cherish me and never let me feel alone again.     MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I’m truly the best of both worlds! I’m a super friendly boy who loves people and really enjoy human companionship, but I’m also independent and know how to keep myself entertained. I’m happy soaking up attention, and I’m just as content doing my own thing — balance is my specialty! One of my favorite activities during walk time is climbing up onto a higher platform so I can watch the world go by. I like to think of it as my “king of the hill” moment! And when I get extra happy? I show my goofy side by wiggling and rubbing my back in excitement. I can’t help it — joy just takes over! Plus, I’m even cuter in person!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I love greeting new people and soaking up all the pets and affection I can get! I’ll happily take treats gently from your hand, and once we’ve said hello, you can even pick me up. I truly enjoy being close to my humans and sharing sweet, affectionate moments together. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and saying a polite hello, but I don’t feel the need to jump straight into play. I’m confident and comfortable doing my own thing and appreciate having my own space. I tend to prefer larger dogs, as I feel more at ease around them. I’m also a true peacekeeper — if another dog is being pushy or a little too excited, I simply choose to walk away from the drama. I have a calm, balanced nature and handle social situations with quiet confidence. · With Cats: My full reaction to cats is still unknown, but during walks I simply look at them with a bit of curiosity and then quickly refocus on my handler. I don’t fixate and happily continue on my way. A cat test can be arranged upon request to make sure it’s the perfect match for everyone.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level — I enjoy playing with my toys, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time outdoors exploring. After I’ve had my fun and walk time, I’m more than happy to curl up indoors for cozy snuggles and relaxation.    TRAINING & HABITS  I walk nicely on leash and do a great job following my handler’s lead. I love exploring the world with my nose, so during walks I enjoy stopping to sniff and investigate all the interesting scents around me — it’s my favorite way to take everything in. I don’t guard my food with people, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtime. I may give an attention bark from time to time, but overall I’m a quiet, well-mannered boy. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel, and I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and doing my business outdoors.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding my love for food and willing to guide me with patience so that I learn to be more patient when other dogs are nearby    SPECIAL NOTES  I’m a mellow, easygoing boy who enjoys calmly taking in my surroundings and appreciating my peaceful moments. At the same time, I absolutely love showering my people with kisses and affection. Volunteers and staff always comment on what a snuggle bug I am — I can be all cuddles one moment and cool and chill the next. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who brings both comfort and sweetness into your life, I’m your boy.   Buzz's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2666596##

QUICK FACTS  Name: Joa Age: 1 year and a half Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua mix  Color: Light brown Weight: 4.5kg / 10lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was once roaming the streets all alone, unsure of how I ended up there. Thankfully, a kind rescuer spotted me and brought me to safety. I was so lucky to be taken into temporary care—who knows what might have happened otherwise. Now I’m safe at the care facility, waiting for a brand-new chapter and a forever family who will love and cherish me.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Spayed & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I’m even smaller and cuter in person! I absolutely love sitting on your lap and am happiest when I’m close to my people. Volunteers and staff often say I look just like a little stuffed doll. I’m respectful and gently cautious, but at heart I’m truly a people’s dog who thrives on human companionship and loves being by your side.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I absolutely love interacting with people! I’m comfortable being picked up, and one of my favorite places to be is right on your lap for cuddles. I enjoy greeting new friends and soaking up all the pets and affection I can get. I haven’t had much experience with kids under 13 yet, but with my gentle and sweet nature, I’m confident I would do well with respectful children. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dog friends and am generally calm around them. I don’t rush into play right away and often prefer doing my own thing. While I get along well with other dogs, I’m truly more of a people’s pup and love getting attention and affection from my humans. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit!   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I’m a chill, calm girl with a mellow energy and a low-key personality. I don’t ask for much—just a little time to roam around outside and enjoy the fresh air. After that, I’m happiest curled up on your lap, snuggling indoors. I’m truly a little couch potato who loves cozy, peaceful moments with my people.    TRAINING & HABITS  I walk nicely on leash and do a great job following my handler’s lead. I’m respectful around food and don’t guard with people or other dogs. I rarely bark and am generally a very quiet girl. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and prefer doing my potty outdoors.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Ideally the only dog in the household as I’m more of a people’s pup – not an absolute requirement however! I will do well with calm & respectful dog siblings    SPECIAL NOTES  Hi, I’m Joa. I may be calm and quiet on the outside, but I have a big, loving heart inside. I thrive on human companionship and truly enjoy being close to my people—whether that’s sitting beside you or curling up in your lap. I don’t ask for much, just a peaceful home where I can feel safe and loved. With my gentle nature and mellow energy, I adjust well and bring a comforting presence wherever I go. I’m ready to be someone’s loyal little shadow and share a lifetime of cozy, happy moments together.   Joa's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2663495##

Story
Tuesday is approximately three years old and weighs 7 pounds. She is a very gentle yet scared little soul. Please read her bio fully. Tuesday came to us from a very bad hoarding situation and was extremely feral when she first came to the rescue. She would not look at us and would put her head in the corner and just shake. The only time she would eat was at night time when nobody was in the room with her. She warmed up every single day and got better and better and started at least going outside and playing with other dogs. One of our amazing fosters took her in and has been working with Tuesday with great success. This is what her foster says : “ Tuesday update: -She jumped on my lap last night and let me pet her, no freezing, shaking or flinching. She barks and runs from Jose(husband), She took about 2 weeks to come around, has excellent eye contact. -Eats well around the other dogs -Plays with Demi and Hazel but does not like rough play and will growl, snap and show her teeth when they get too rough with her, and those two play rough at times. -potty training a work in progress -she needs a safe yard because she is looking for exits, also in the beginning nothing around where she can hide that is not easily accessible. Most importantly, Tuesday is learning that hands don't harm her and are safe, because when we reach out to her she cowers, flinches as if she expects to be hurt. Tuesday is available for adoption or foster to adopt by an experienced adopter no small children and a very secure fenced yard. Must have other social dogs .

Story
Greetings, I’m Jasper!I’m a handsome senior boy... you might even say I’m a silver fox. Even though I’m a chihuahua. I’m pretty happy to meet new people: if you sit down, I’ll probably crawl right into your lap! But being an older guy, I’m pretty confident in what I want... and if I’m uncomfortable, I’ll let you know. Even though it’s chilly outside, I still like going for walks! I’m looking for a family who will spoil me in my golden years and respect my communication.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: No, I’ve never spent much time with kids and am looking for a calm retirement home.OTHER DOGS: No, other dogs stress me out. I am looking to be the only dog.CATS: Potentially, I’ve not lived with a cat before but with a cat used to living with dogs, we should be ok.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Potentially, if you have knowledge or experience of small breeds and senior needs.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessary.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though I do love to snuggle my human so I might not enjoy being alone for too long.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low.HOUSE-TRAINED: No. I still commonly eliminate in the home and don’t reliably use pee pads.If you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!
