My Personality
Hello! I’m Vero. I may be small, but my story runs deep. I spent the early part of my life as a mother, raising pups in a home that bred dogs like me. Though I wasn't always treated as the cherished companion I longed to be, I never stopped hoping for that kind of love.
Now, I’m stepping into a new chapter. I can be a little reserved at first who wouldn’t be, after all I’ve been through? But if you offer me a treat or speak to me gently, you’ll quickly see how affectionate I really am. Once I feel safe, I become incredibly loving, following my people around and leaning in for attention. I’m calm, clever, and quietly loyal. And yes, I’ll even roll over to show you my belly when I feel at ease.
My Social Life
• With People: I warm up quickly, especially if snacks are involved! I haven’t spent time around young children, but I do well with adults who are gentle and respectful. You can pick me up easily, and I’m happiest snuggled close to someone I trust.
• With Other Dogs: I don’t mind being around other dogs, especially those my size, but I’m more of a companion than a playmate. I prefer peaceful coexistence and usually keep to myself. That said, I do like my food, so I’d appreciate a little space at mealtime just to make sure no one tries to sneak a bite of my bowl.
• With Cats: I haven’t met a cat yet, so we’re not sure how I’d feel. A careful, slow introduction would be best if one is in the family.
On My Walks
I’m an experienced walker and enjoy exploring at a calm, steady pace. I don’t pull on the leash and stay close to my person. it’s one of the best parts of my day! After a nice walk, I’m happy to curl up and rest quietly.
Life at Home
At home, I’m an easy and well-mannered housemate. I know how to use pee pads and also do my business outside. I’m flexible like that! Occasionally, I’ll bark if I want something, but mostly, I’m a quiet observer who’s happy just being near the people I love.
Though I’ve spent much of my life focused on motherhood, I’m now ready to be someone’s baby to receive the attention and love I always gave to others. I may have lived in the background before, but I have so much warmth and affection waiting to be shared.

I’m looking for a calm, kind home where I can finally relax and be loved for who I am. Whether you’re a single person looking for a gentle shadow or a quiet family wanting a sweet companion, I think we might be a match.
