Story
Meet Agnus (AKA Aggie), the adorable Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her playful spirit! This pint-sized pup is on a mission to find her forever home, and she's ready to charm her way into your heart.Aggie is not your average lapdog - she's a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, always ready for an adventure! Whether it's a hike through the forest or a relaxing evening stroll around the neighborhood, Agnus is your perfect companion. Her love for the outdoors knows no bounds, and she'll happily explore new trails with you by her side. But don't let her small size fool you - Agnus has a big personality! She loves to play with toys by herself or with others, and if there are no toys around, she'll grab a stick or woodchip to play with. She would love to live with another small playful dog so the party never ends. She has been living with a cat and likes to chase and wrestle him, so could be okay with a bold/playful cat. She is unsure about small children but would likely be okay with older kids. With her playful nature and loving demeanor, she's sure to make fast friends wherever she goes. When she's not busy exploring, playing with toys, or making new pals, Agnus loves nothing more than snuggling up with her favorite humans for some well-deserved cuddle time. Her affectionate nature knows no bounds, and she'll shower you with love and kisses every chance she gets.Agnus has recently made excellent progress in potty training and crate training. She currently sleeps in a crate at night and when left home alone (for up to 5 hours). She will need some continued support with her potty training as she adjusts to a new routine. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's as cute as can be and full of love to give, look no further than Agnus. Call to schedule an appointment to meet this sweet girl today and see why she's sure to steal your heart!

Introducing Tucker the Explorer! This wonderful boy is a lovable, cute, expressive dog looking to become someone's forever companion! He's very well trained - knowing how to stay in a crate, go potty outside, and even go through the doggy door! Tucker is a very chill and low energy dog who enjoys everyone. Sometimes Tucker experiences some anxiety when people leave him to go to work or run errands but that's about the extent of it. Tucker would do well in a household where there are other dogs around to bring out his playful side. Potential adopters should know that Tucker is a velcro dog and will be stuck to your side at all times during the day and night. He loves a good nap with his family! Don't wait, Tucker will give you a wonderful buddy for LIFE :) Look in his eyes and ADOPT HIM!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there. I am Ory, short for Oreja (means animal ears in Spanish). As you can see, I have quite large ears so foster mom thought the name fit me well. I am an approximately 2 year old, 15 pound, male, chi mix ( most likely chiweenie). I have a long daschund body, expressive eyes ( for catching the babes) and fox ears. I was found running down the alley in foster mom's neighborhood. I wasn't chipped and no one recognized me so foster mom took me home and got me into the rescue. I did turn out to be heartworm positive but just went through treatment and I'm a new guy! I'm ready to go to a home that will keep me on heartworm prevention so that I don't get those pesky worms again. I am housebroken, crate trained and very obedient. I love going on car rides and for walks. I am a very quiet dog who likes to sit next to my person while they watch tv or read a book. Foster mom says I'm a major cuddler who loves to sleep under a bunch of blankets in my crate. She sometimes can only see my tail! I get along with other dogs and respect their space. I love people and allow children to pet me when they come up to me on walks. It is unknown how I do with cats as foster mom does not have any. I do love to chase squirrels and birds though so it's possible I might chase cats too. I do have some mild separation anxiety and would love to be in a home with a retiree or someone who works from home. It isn't necessary to have someone home all the time though as I do settle down in my crate after just a few minutes of crying. I do need to live in a home with a secure fence as I have a tendency to run away if given an opportunity. The tendency to take off is probably why I ended up being found as a stray since I definately didn't look like I had missed any meals! Iol So, as you can see, I'm an all around good guy to have around for someone looking for a companion. Are you that person? If so, have your peeps call my peeps and I'll be right over.

Story
‍  PIXIE  ‍  BREED: Chihuahua/Terrier blendAGE: 10 years oldWEIGHT: 9 lbs. (ideal weight 8.5 lbs., and she is losing weight through daily walking of 1 to 3 miles) LIKES: Pixie loves going anywhere with her people. Whether that's for a walk, a car ride, to visit friends, the park, gardening, sitting next to you on the couch, watching you from her bed, or climbing into your bed to take a daytime nap. People are her JAM! She likes all the animals she’s been introduced to, and is super sweet and friendly;  she gets a treat in the morning and at night, and really likes those! This darling girl likes her dog stairs, or a ramp to get up on the bed or the couch; she loves her morning massages that help her walk comfortably and easier. DISLIKES: As a senior lady, Pixie has a hard time maneuvering around others feet (people & larger dogs), and maneuvering doorways with others at the same time. Pixie does not like when dogs jump on/step on/ mount her (but she is kind in her correction) as she does have some cricks and pains from being up in age. POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Pixie is potty trained, in her foster home, if she has open access to outside. She cannot always “hold it” but she works really hard to make sure she gets outside.  EXTRA: Pixie is a little slow to warm up, though everyone who meets her loves her and comments that she is “just the sweetest dog”, and she really is. We’ve learned that Pixie is an observer, and likes to watch everything going on around her, and then bonds very strongly with her people given a little bit of time. You’ll learn that she has a sweet sense of humor, walks beautifully on the leash, is a pretty quiet dog and content to enjoy a retired life, but likes to join in some fun if ever so briefly when the household pack announces something is up. Pixie has a congenital defect in her knees, which presents some challenges- for example, she cannot jump and needs to be gently placed down ever so lightly when being handled. Rough handling causes pain in her knees, hips and back, and she has medication to help offer her extra comfort. We would love for you to connect with us to learn more about sweet Pixie. She is such a sweet delight of a pooch, looking to join a family or a person who will love everything about her and cherish Pixie through her golden years.  To further inquire about PIXIE, click on the link to submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how PIXIE will mesh with your lifestyle.  Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.  Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.  We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for PIXIE, as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ •••   ##1790249##
