Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a tiny 9-pound Chihuahua with 14 years of life experience, and these days I’m looking for a quiet place where I can enjoy my golden years with someone who appreciates a gentle little companion. I’m an affectionate, quiet and snuggly girl who loves being close to my person. One of my favorite places is curled up on the bed, and at night I’m used to sleeping right alongside my human. I also enjoy walks and, once I’m comfortable with you, I absolutely love being petted. I can be shy and nervous around unfamiliar people at first, so I appreciate someone who will give me a little time to settle in and feel safe. I haven’t lived with dogs, cats or children. Other dogs tend to make me anxious, and I can be nervous around children, so a quiet, mellow home without a lot of activity would probably suit me best. My experience with cats is unknown. For 14, I still get around pretty well, but my hind legs aren’t as strong as they used to be. Jumping up and down can be difficult for me, so I may need a little help getting onto my favorite cozy spots. One important thing to know is that I don’t like being picked up from underneath my front legs, so please handle me gently and carefully. I’m also a picky eater with some special dietary needs. My current diet includes chicken and liver because I haven’t been able to eat regular dog food. My future family should be prepared to work with a veterinarian to make sure I’m getting the nutrition I need. My person is getting older too, and caring for me has become more than they can manage. They want me to find someone who can give me the extra care a senior girl deserves. I may be tiny, but I have plenty of love to give. If your idea of a good day includes a peaceful home, gentle walks, lots of petting and a little Chihuahua curled up beside you, I’d love to meet you.

Hi there! My name is Juno, and I'm a 7-year-old Chihuahua with 11 pounds of love, loyalty, and just the right amount of personality. If you're looking for a little companion who enjoys the quieter side of life, I think we should meet. Life has taken me on a bit of an unexpected journey. I originally came to my current person as a foster after a family member could no longer keep me. When it became clear my first family wasn't coming back for me, my foster happily stepped up. Unfortunately, health issues now mean they can no longer care for me either. None of this is my fault—I'm simply hoping my next home will be my forever one. At home, I'm an easy roommate. I spend most of my time relaxing indoors, but I also enjoy exploring a securely fenced yard. I sleep in bed with my person because, honestly, that's one of my favorite places to be! When my human needs to be away, I'm trustworthy enough to have free run of the house for up to about five hours. I walk nicely on a loose leash and enjoy taking in the sights and smells without dragging you down the sidewalk. I've lived peacefully with cats and have done very well with them. I haven't had the chance to spend time around children or other dogs, so I'd be happiest in a calm home where I don't have to figure all of that out. One thing you should know is that I like my meals to myself. I'm protective of my food, so it's best if everyone simply lets me eat in peace. It's an easy thing to manage, and I appreciate people who understand my boundaries. My dream home is a relaxed, quiet place without children, where I can be someone's little shadow, warm the bed at night, and remind you every day that the best things really do come in small packages. He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness.In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. Norman1.5 y neutered male 24 lbShepahuahua Norman's story begins with a FREE PUPPIES sign on the back of a truck at a swap meet in Hanford, CA. A good Samaritan scooped him up, put him on a transport, and transferred him into foster at Wiggly Tails. Norman was adopted at the age of 4 months by a kind woman who he loved very much. They became very bonded to each other and lived happily together. A year later, however, she died suddenly and Norman found himself all alone in their apartment. His original foster came to get the terrified dog and bring him home. There, he was able to decompress and recover from his loss. As Norman lived with only one person, he wasn't well socialized as a puppy. He can get quite nervous with new people. Once he knows you however, he will be your bestest friend for life. He will want to sleep with you, snuggle with you, and be carried like a toddler. He is a true velcro baby. Due to Norman's need for slow introductions, we are willing to allow him to be fostered for a short time to settle in before an adoption decision has to be made. We would supply you with his personal items, and you'd let us know how it was coming along - just like he would be in his current foster home. We're confident he'll come around and do well if someone is just willing to be patient and give him a chance. (His foster home just absolutely adores him and he's very affectionate with them.) Norman is crate trained and has not had any accidents in the house. He is still pretty nervous on leash, but he rides in the car well. He loves other dogs and is respectful of cats.
