Story
Wilbur is a sweet, loving dog in need of a new home. Wilbur is food-motivated, curious, and very energetic during playtime. However, he is a very anxious dog. He will bark at strangers in the home and any strangers or dogs visible through the windows. He does not have any experience with cats, but when he sees one on a walk, he will attempt to chase them. He lives with another chihuahua, and they get along well most of the time, but sometimes when he is excited, he will growl and tackle him. This happens infrequently, about once every 3 weeks. He has bitten 1 person before. I can provide details upon request.

Story
This girl is a great dog. I've been working with her for over a year now. She is great with people, kids, still learning cats as we don't have any... but seems inquisitive though might be a little too rough in play for most kitties and very small children. Nonetheless, this little Monkey seems to adore kids of all ages. Monkey walks great on leash, she has great recall, does not bark when someone knocks on the door, is very loving and cuddly, but does not lick faces. She enjoys sitting with me in the outdoor community area, quietly watching people walk by. Monkey is special needs because she will need someone who knows how to appropriately understand and work with Monkey's potential to overreact towards unfamiliar dogs who cross her threshold. This has become much easier to manage; Monkey listens and responds exceptionally well.

Story
Norman1.5 y neutered male 24 lbShepahuahua Norman's story begins with a FREE PUPPIES sign on the back of a truck at a swap meet in Hanford, CA. A good Samaritan scooped him up, put him on a transport, and transferred him into foster at Wiggly Tails. Norman was adopted at the age of 4 months by a kind woman who he loved very much. They became very bonded to each other and lived happily together. A year later, however, she died suddenly and Norman found himself all alone in their apartment. His original foster came to get the terrified dog and bring him home. There, he was able to decompress and recover from his loss. As Norman lived with only one person, he wasn't well socialized as a puppy. He can get quite nervous with new people. Once he knows you however, he will be your bestest friend for life. He will want to sleep with you, snuggle with you, and be carried like a toddler. He is a true velcro baby. Due to Norman's need for slow introductions, we are willing to allow him to be fostered for a short time to settle in before an adoption decision has to be made. We would supply you with his personal items, and you'd let us know how it was coming along - just like he would be in his current foster home. We're confident he'll come around and do well if someone is just willing to be patient and give him a chance. (His foster home just absolutely adores him and he's very affectionate with them.) Norman is crate trained and has not had any accidents in the house. He is still pretty nervous on leash, but he rides in the car well. He loves other dogs and is respectful of cats. Small children are not recommended as they can be scary. A fenced backyard is a must for Norman. To further inquire about NORMAN, submit an application. ADOPTION APP: https://www.wigglytails.org/adoption-application Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how NORMAN will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid foster-to-adopt agreement for NORMAN, as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR ADOPTION APP: https://www.wigglytails.org/adoption-application ##2299176##

Story
Esha'ntarl3 year, spayed female, 16 lbChihuahua mix Esha'ntarl is the mom of the Final Fantasy litter. She loves toys, playing with other dogs, and curling up on her bed. She did an excellent job raising her babies and is now ready for a home of her own! She has learned to walk on a leash and does well on neighborhood walks. She is crate trained, and gets along with the resident dogs and cats. She does great when she is let outside to potty on a regular schedule. She can be a bit sneaky with the trash however, so baby locks or keeping it away is recommended. (Being a trash hound is a pretty common trait for a dog who had to survive on their own.) She is looking for a home that has a yard with solid fences, as she can get out of short or chain link fencing. She needs a family with the patience to let her come out of her shell and show her true self. Another dog in the home is certainly a bonus! To further inquire about ESHA'NTARL, submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how ESHA'NTARL will mesh with your lifestyle. Story
Meet Pickles! 4 months, spayed female, 14 lbs Minpin mix She is so stinking smart!! This dog would make an amazing agility prospect. She also uses her nose and would do great with scent sports. With her smarts and energy level, she will need direction and stimulation. She is under six months old and she can sit and lay down on command! She is working on recall in her foster home too! LIKES: Toys! Balls, stuffies, your socks! She likes to carry them around, make little piles and bury them under unsuspecting blankets. Chasing things she’ll chase a ball, a toy, we’re working on bringing the toy back so we can keep playing. She has not shown an interest in cats, she seems curious but seems to know better than to approach. She does good on a leash but still needs a little bit of work on her manners. She is 90% House trained accidents are only when she isn’t taken outside on time. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and chasing a giant cat toy around the backyard. DISLIKES: Loud noises and strangers. Meeting new people is a struggle, but her foster is working on helping her with her bravery in this department. She does great with small dogs and is much more fearful of large dogs. She does not like to be left alone. She does OK in a crate for short periods, but quickly gets restless and bored. She does not like to be picked up, will tolerate it from a trusted person. Otherwise, she is very wiggly and surprisingly strong. To further inquire about PICKLES, submit an application. https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how PICKLES will mesh with your lifestyle. Story
Meet Wilma! Wilma is a sweet little mixed-breed girl who we believe is around 2 years old and just like her puppy, Pebbles, she is incredibly sweet and friendly! While Wilma is still getting settled and we’re continuing to learn more about her, one thing is already clear, she has a calm, easygoing temperament and a gentle spirit. We suspect Wilma will thrive with adopters who understand that settling into a new home takes time. Giving her the opportunity to decompress, get comfortable in her surroundings, and build confidence before asking her to experience too much of the world at once will help her feel safe and secure. With patience and a little time, we think Wilma is going to blossom into a wonderful companion. Wilma may enjoy having another small male dog as a friend in her forever home. Her history with cats and children is unknown, so thoughtful introductions and supervision will be important as she gets to know any new housemates. Wilma has already shown us what a sweet and lovely girl she is. Now she’s looking for a family who will give her the time and patience she needs to settle in and in return, she’ll be a gentle, affectionate companion ready to enjoy the simple pleasures of life by your side. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Wilma's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Wilma would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos :    ##2831039##
