Story
Meet Momo, a sweet and gentle 10-year-old senior who is blossoming more each day in her foster home in San Antonio, TX. Don’t let her age fool you—her vet says she is in great health, and she has so much love left to give! This darling girl may have started off a little shy, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality truly shines. Momo now loves being held and cuddled, happily soaking up attention from her people and forming strong bonds with those she trusts. Momo is wonderfully well-rounded and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for a variety of households. She would also do well as an only dog, as she truly enjoys soaking up attention and bonding closely with her people. She has excellent manners in the home—she is potty trained and knows how to use a doggie door, which makes her an easy and low-maintenance companion. At night, Momo’s favorite place to be is curled up on the couch, enjoying a cozy and peaceful sleep near her humans. While she isn’t a fan of being in a kennel, she does very well when given a small, quiet space sectioned off with a baby gate where she feels safe and secure. Momo would thrive in a patient, loving home that will continue to build her confidence and give her the affection she craves. She’s the perfect mix of gentle, loving, and loyal—and she’s ready to find a forever family who will cherish her just as much as she will adore them. You can apply directly for Momo by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-838 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. Story
BIO: Hugs is a male Chihuahua mix, turning 11 years old. Weighs 14lbs and comes with a good bill of health, only mild tartar build-up on back teeth. Current on shots, chipped and neutered. Not a yappy dog, only if someone comes to the door and rings the doorbell. Easy maintenance to bathe, trim nails, and vet visits. Not afraid of sirens, thunder, but a bit of separation anxiety (due to me being hospitalized). He is an indoor dog, but loves to sunbathe. Great companion, especially good with children and cats. He does express trauma (due to being attacked by a large dog), but will warm up with proper introduction. I am no longer able to care for Hugs, and with an upcoming surgery requiring lenghty recovery, I feel it is best to place him in a loving home. Hoping to rehome before June 20th.

Story
I'm writing with a heavy heart to find a new, loving home for my sweet girl, Princess. This isn't an easy decision, but due to changes in my life right now, I can't give her the time and stability she deserves. Princess is everything you want in a family dog. She is fully house trained, she is up to date on all of her shots and she is just a love bug — she lives for pets, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She's incredibly friendly. She greets everyone with a wagging tail, settles down nicely in the house, and loves to be part of whatever you're doing, whether that's a walk around the block or a nap on the couch. She has a gentle, happy temperament and just wants to be loved. I'm not looking for just anyone I'm looking for the right home where she'll be safe, cherished, and treated like family. If you think that could be you, or you know someone wonderful, please reach out to me. Thank you so much for reading and for considering opening your heart

Story
Please go slow with me. Life hasn't always been easy so I'm timid and can get snappy when scared. That being said I'll do just about anything for treats- especially the Pupperoni ones! I like being held and will do best in a calm household.
