Story
Get ready to fall in love with the irresistible charm of Poutine! Named after the iconic Canadian dish, this pup is as unique and delightful as the comfort food she's named after. With a heart as warm as gravy and a personality as cheesy as melted cheese curds, Poutine is sure to steal your heart from the very first wag of her tail.Reason for Foster: Awaiting Suture RemovalFoster Time Frame: 2 weeks Foster Care Plan: Poutine recently had a mass removed that we are awaiting test results for. She will need to return in 2 weeks to have her sutures removed from her surgery. She will go home with medication and we will provide a medical consult at pickup. I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. Story
Rudolph embodies sweetness and love! While he may initially appear a bit shy, with a sprinkle of attention and extra care, he'll illuminate your life as brightly as his namesake's nose.Reason for Foster: Awaiting Heartworm TreatmentFoster Time Frame: 2 months Foster Care Plan: Rudolph is looking for a foster home to stay in for the length of his heartworm treatment. He has previously had an amputation, dental surgery, and currently has a heart murmur that is being monitored. He can get around well but would do best in a carpeted home and grass when outdoors. He will go home with medication and will be eating canned food only due to his recent dental work. We will provide a medical consult at pickup, so you are fully prepared to care for this sweet little boy. I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. A magical butterfly whispered to me in a dream, 'Find the place where humans and animals heal each other.' Next morning, I woke up in a shelter. I'm not sure how, but I trust the butterfly. I'm friendly, smart, and gentle. I'm also mellow and love cuddles. I've been learning tricks and manners here, and I'm ready to share my love with a family. I'm not just a shelter dog, I'm your future best friend. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will adore you unconditionally, I'm your girl.February 28, 2024, 5:28 pm

Story
Lucy & Ethel are eight year old sisters. June 6, 2015 is their birthday. They are full blood chihuahuas. Their personalities are like “Lucy & Ethel”. Lucy is playful and full of energy while Ethel is laid back and loves to be scratched and petted. They are crate trained but are not completely house trained. If their human(s) are more disciplined than I was they would go outside. They love to go outside. They are used to a leash but love to be let loose and run and sniff. They haven’t been around other dogs or cats much. They have never been around children so I don’t know how they would be with them. Me and my adult daughter and son are pretty much the only other people they’ve been around. Occasionally, there have been other adults but they don’t get too close. They love to sit with me in my recliner, one on each side. They do have beds they use during the day if they are not sitting with me. Sometimes they get scared when it thunders.
