Ernie is officially available for adoption! -10yo, long haired chihuahua & 13lbs -Neutered, vax’d, chipped & hw neg -Dog, cat and people friendly -Crate and potty trained -Tripod -Sweet, loving boy -Very low energy Ernie was found as a stray in Seagoville along with his brother Bert and brought to the shelter. Ernie was chipped, but owners hung up when the shelter contacted them. Unfortunately, we realized soon after picking them up that Bert was hospice and did not have very long. Ernie has adapted well since loosing Bert. Ernie would do well in a home with other dogs, but equally happy as an only dog. He would be great for a senior (the rescue has a senior program too)! He got a dental, benign masses removed and his leg amputated and has adjusted very well! Ernie is a true couch potato & loves sleeping and lounging the entire day! Timber was found off Chisholm Trail in Rockwall County on 11/18/25 with another small male dog, both without collars or microchips. After completing his 72-hour stray hold with no owner coming forward, this little guy is now officially available for adoption. Timber is sweet, alert, and full of personality. You just need to give him a little time to warm up because he can be shy at first. At around 1 lbs., he's the perfect size for someone looking for a compact companion with a lot of love to give. He would benefit from a patient adopter who can help him settle in, gain confidence, and continue learning what it means to be part of a family. His adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current n his rabies, boosters to date, and heartworm negative. This dog was abandoned in our yard about a week ago. I’ve made post to our local area looking for his owner but have had zero luck finding them. Checked for a chip and he didn’t have one, tried every animal shelter and foster near me and nobody would take him. This is my complete last resort and I’m hoping through this organization he will find a loving home.
