Say hello to Bloom! Bloom is a 1 year old, 7.5 pound, female chihuhua. Bloom is very shut down in our shelter so we are not sure what her true personality is like. But we trust that with the time, patience, and a quiet home, she will `bloom`. Bloom has been very quiet and submissive. Bloom would make a great lap dog, once you gain her trust. She would do best in a home with other calm pets that respect her space and no young kids. Come meet Bloom and see if she would blossom at your home.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.

I'm a 3 year old chihuahua/terrier mix and I originally lived in a home with 50 other dogs, so I didn't get much attention. I like attention from people and I bond strongly with those who love on me. I especially like ladies and it takes me a little longer to warm up to men. I would prefer a home without young children. I get along well with cats, and dogs that are my size or larger. If I say so myself, I, Mystic, am a beautiful 3 year old chihuahua mix. I like people, am friendly with other dogs and cats too (although if they run, I do like to chase them. Since most kitties are almost as big as me, I'm not sure what I would do if I caught up to one!) I have been enjoying my play dates at Velvet Snout with other dogs, and it helps me to burn off some energy. I really would like a yard where I can run around and chase the squirrels. I want to stay with my friend Piper Jones, because we love to play and I have a lot more confidence when I'm with her. My foster family says I have nice house manners! I started out in life in a hoarding situation with about 50 other dogs, so there wasn't much chance for me to get individual attention. I love it now! 🐶 Meet Biscuit ❤️ Biscuit is a sweet 4-year-old, 12-pound lap dog that we adopted after he was found as a stray about two years ago. He loves his people, is great with our toddler, and gets along well with other dogs and animals. Since we moved, he has learned how to escape our backyard. He always comes home, but we worry about him getting hurt, and with our busy schedules we feel he would do best in a home where someone is around more often.
