Story
Olivia is a special and sweet girl. She adores her human, has a mind of her own, and does not hesitate to let you know when she thinks she is not getting the attention she expects :) Her favorite thing seems to be to curl up under the blanket with her human and take long naps. She lives with 5 other dogs and is getting along great with them. She isn't scared to tell her big 50lb sister who is boss! She is very curious and wants to know what is going on at all times. She wants to be where you are to make sure she can keep an eye on you. Olivia has a few special needs, and is looking for a special family that will given her the extra care she requires. She can't use her back legs due to what might be a spinal injury. She does have sensation in both back legs though, so we started with some mobility exercises for a few months. We have also fitted her with a set of fancy pink wheels and she took to them immediately. They give her freedom, and she has quickly mastered how to navigate corners. She gets to wear them in the house several hours a day, until she decides she needs her precious naps. Now she zips around the house and the yard like a pro! She hasn't been doing exercises for some time now, however she has gained a bit more strength in her back legs and is able to stand up and take a few wobbly steps at a time. She also went for a short walk outside where she met several neighborhood kids and pups. More walks to come once the weather improves. Olivia is also a little incontinent, and that has been very easy to manage with washable diapers and a little help. Olivia has an amazingly inspiring zest for life and doesn't let this slow her down one bit. She is looking for her special family that will be willing to give her the little extra care she needs with loads of love that she absolutely demands :)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2026, 12:04 am

One of her favorite pastimes is burrowing under blanketsâ&#194&#128&#194&#148donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t be surprised if she insists on sleeping under the covers with you! Story
Amora is a sweetheart with the perfect mix of playful energy and couch cuddle expertise. After being found as a stray at CCAS, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s soaking up the comfort of a safe, loving home and is ready to find her forever family. She does well with other dogs and absolutely wants to join in on the fun. She sometimes prances around adorably because sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s still figuring out exactly how to play. Itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s part of her charm! With moderate energy, Amora enjoys her daily activity but is just as happy to wind down and relax by your side. Fully leash trained, crate trained, and potty trained, Amora is a â&#194&#128&#194&#156professional human cuddlerâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 who thrives on closeness. Story
Hoppy is a lovable senior lady with a gentle heart and so much love left to give. She is at a stage in life where the simple things mean the most: cozy naps, short walks, tasty treats, and being close to her favorite people. This sweet girl still has a surprising amount of pep in her step. She enjoys leisurely walks, happily trots alongside you on leash, and will proudly follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Hoppy is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her humans and thrives on that connection. Like many devoted companions, Hoppy can feel a little anxious when left alone because her favorite place is right by your side. She would do best in a home where someone is around often, or with adopters who are happy to continue building her confidence when she has solo time. The good news is that she already knows how to use pee pads, making her routine easy to manage and giving her future family extra flexibility. Hoppy gets along fine with other dogs but is past her rowdy play days. At this point in life, she is much more interested in snuggling up next to you and soaking in all the affection she can get. With her expressive face and tender personality, Hoppy has a way of quietly stealing hearts. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will adore you completely and remind you to slow down and enjoy the little moments, Hoppy is ready to spend her golden years loving you. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Story
Reese is a unique dog looking for a place in a special family's heart. Reese is completely hairless on his entire body. He has hair on his head and legs. He is 11 years old and weighs 14lbs. He is very active and loves to be outdoors exploring or laying in the sun. He also loves to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie. He is neutered, microchiped, and vaccinated. He also recently had his dental done. Reese does have a few medical conditions. He has a thyroid disorder which requires daily thyroid medication. The medication is not expensive. He also has a grade 2 heart murmur. At this point he just needs to be monitored and if the condition worsens then he will need to be on heart medication. But he was recently under anesthesia for his dental work with no problems.
