Story
Meet Ellie Mae! *NOW FOSTERED IN WASHINGTON* This beautiful, kind hearted girl has been waiting for her Forever Home for approximately half a year! She is a 7 month old 22 pound chihuahua and black mouth cur mix! She is an adorable, happy girl that will entertain and keep the family active with her spunky personality! Ellie means "sun ray". She will be your sunshine during those rainy & snowy days in the PNW! Ellie's days are full when she gets to go out on adventures! She is kind and gentle children would be great for her. She has the typical puppy energy and will need a home that can be patient and consistent, while continuing to work on her potty training and basic obedience to help her become the best adult dog she can be. She's been learning leash skills and is doing so well! She loves to explore and run around the yard! Ellie is still very young and has an adventurous heart that would be happiest with an active family. I can picture her sprinting happily along trails or beaches with her cute smile. Those familiar with the black mouth cur breed know they're possibly the greatest dogs in the world! Although her breeds are anyone's best guess there's no denying she's 100% unique and beautiful. This pup will need daily stimulation. It would be best for her to be in a home with a yard where she can run and play. It would also be ideal for her to be with a family who understands the importance of setting healthy boundaries, proper training and appropriate level of activity. Ellie is fully vetted, up to date on shots, spayed & elgible for adoption immediately! She is such a lovable pup... if she sounds like a good fit for you please apply today! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This is sweet Rihanna! She is a 4 month old chi mix that won’t be an available long because she is so adorable! Her favorite thing is rubber teething toys and small tennis balls! She LOVES other dogs and the resident foster pig! Rihanna loves to play with other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog. She gets so excited to see other dogs she will sometimes jump and want to be in their face so she will need a tolerant doggy companion! She is the type of puppy that really doesn't care about people, only her doggy friends! She will jump up to be in her human lap sometimes when she feels like it but doesn’t stay long! She’s not a pup that gives kisses or cuddles … she keeps to herself for the most part and enjoys her doggy companions! Her foster mom is working on her recall. This girl will stay outside all day and play if you let her. Her foster mom is working with her on house and crate training. She will need a patient family that can continue training, socialization and working with her on leash etiquette. This girl is also cat friendly! All this girl needs is love, patience and some doggy friends and she’s ready for her new home!
