Story
Please welcome this little guy to rescue! This little 14# senior is Zack he is roughly around 11 yrs young. Sadly, he was turned into a scary shelter for some unknown reason, but was able to be pulled to safety, and then we said yes to him also :) I mean we could never say no to a face like this. He has now been fully vetted and here in WI; he is ready to show the world he may be a bit older but still has plenty of pep to his step! He does wonderful with other doggy friends and ignores the kitties at his foster home. He is actually a happy little friendly boy who loves people. So, if you're looking for an easy loveable little lap buddy, he is willing to fill that role for you. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org ask for the sweet senior boy Zack!!Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Meet Uncle! 🐾Uncle is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 11 pounds. This little guy was sadly found in a hoarding situation alongside his sister, where it appears he received very little human attention. His sister has already found her forever family, and now it's Uncle's turn!Because of his past, Uncle can be shy and timid when meeting new people and may be nervous at first but comes around once he knows he is safe. Watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.Once he feels comfortable, Uncle absolutely loves human companionship. He's the perfect lap-sized pup and is happiest curled up on his person's lap soaking up affection. He also loves toys and enjoys spending time playing and exploring.Uncle will need slow introductions to new dogs, but once he settles in, he co-exists well with the dogs in his foster home, ranging from 10 to 60 pounds. He is doing great with potty training, rides well in the car, and especially enjoys sitting on the lap of the 9-year-old while riding in the car.Crate training is coming along, even though he is not a big fan of them, but he is learning. Given his history, it's likely that confinement can be scary for him.Uncle has already overcome so much in his young life. Now all he needs is a family willing to give him a chance. In return, you'll gain a loyal little companion who is ready to discover what it means to be truly loved. ❤️Could you be the one to give Uncle his happily ever after? If so, an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org ask for UncleThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Looking for a sweet girl to join your family? Well, check me out, cos' I am gonna stay just a wee girl My name is Molly and I am a 4 month old Chihuahua mix, around 5 lbs. I am just a puppy so I have all the learning to do. I need you to be gentle and patient with me as I come from the streets and did not have an easy start to life. I love to play and I get along great with everyone and everything, although cats don't appreciate my game of "chase" so if you have a cat, hopefully it can recognize I am just being playful. I am doing great with my puppy pad house training and also learning to be in a crate, but you do need to encourage me as sometimes I might forget. I'm hoping you have some toys to play with and I'm hoping you like to get out and about cos' that plus love is really all I need. Check me out soon cos' I won't last. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Name: Butch - Sponsored adoption Fee Age:  8 years Breed:  chi mix Gender:  Male Weight:  14 pounds Good with kids:  Probably not as he is very scared of fast movement Good with dogs:  YES! Good with cats:  YES! Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and prior vetting paperwork.   Foster location:  Iola, wi Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html   Bio:   Meet Butch!    Butch made the trip from TX with a few of his friends that were all part of a horrific hoarding case that also involved a fire. Due to this trauma, he is learning what safety means and feels like. He is slow to warm up to humans, but instant friends with canines. Due to this, it will be imperative for Butch to get a forever home with a dog who can help him feel comfortable.    Butch has been making huge strides in his foster home! Due to his past trauma, his decompression time has been a bit longer than most. Every day he gets a little more comfortable with humans. He will need a patient human who will take things at Butch's pace AND a doggie friend to show him his human is safe!    Butch is a submissive boy to his canine friends. There has been no food aggression. He was the perfect gentleman to a tiny kitten his foster watched over night. He has been perfect with a consistent potty schedule. He sleeps in bed with his foster family every night and snores like a freight train.    Butch still gets spooked by fast movement but then realizes he is safe and comes right back for reassuring scritches on the chin! Butch seems to be very hard of hearing, but not fully deaf which may contribute to his startling.   If you have patience and a dog looking for a friend, apply today! Butch is waiting to meet you!!   Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest if it isn't a good fit.    July 9, 2026, 2:08 pm
