Story
Name: Nacho Age: 5 years Breed: chihuahua mix Guesstimated Weight: 16-18 lbs Good with dogs?: yes, but needs a safe space until he is comfortable around other dogs. He is not mean, just scared. Good with kids?: very timid around kids and hides or runs away from them. (Not aggressive at all) He would do well with older/respectful children. Good with cats: yes Crate trained?: yes Leash trained?: He did OK on the leash for his new fosters House Trained?: Yes. Has not shown any destruction. He knows how to use a dog door and enjoys spending time outdoors. Current on all vaccines?: yes Spayed/neutered?: yes Heartworm Tested?: yes Bio: Nacho will take a few days to come out of his shell. He does not trust humans in the beginning. He flinches when the humans pet him. He will only allow the petting when he is relaxing in his crate, but does not appear to find it comforting. He has never snapped at the humans. We are still working very hard to gain his trust and he makes improvements every day. He does not appear to be dog food/treat motivated, but he LOVES Vienna sausages. He would pair great with a confident dog July 25, 2024, 10:38 pm

Story
Name: Andy Age: 4 Breed: Chi/Dox 'Chiweenie' Mix Gender: Male Weight: 6# Good with kids: Older or calm kids who do not approach quickly. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Lake Linden, Michigan Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: $300 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Meet Andy! Andy and his buddy (daughter, sister, cousin??) Adley arrived to the UP from Texas after being dumped by their owners and found hiding in a cactus. Andy is a happy young fellow who likes to be involved with what's going on but currently on his terms. He loves wrestling with his buddy Adley and running around the house with his foster dogs friends. He's doing well in his new foster home and is starting to socialize with other dogs and humans. Andy hasn't engaged in any cuddling but if you have tiny chunks of cheese, he's incredibly motivated to be friends. He, at this point, will run if approached. Andy's new family will need the time to work with him to bond and create trust, but what we're seeing is that he is a fast learner! Based on Andy's behaviors in the first days, a fenced yard is required. He benefits from having a crate overnight and while humans are out of the home and he likes the crate. This handsome chi/dox mix is longing (body-type pun intended!) for his forever home. Of course, breed cannot be guaranteed. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.July 25, 2024, 10:38 pm
