Story
- Cinnamon (7 years old) and Pepper (8 years old) were previously Russy and Gweneviere, but our daughters renamed them and call them the Spice Girls. - We adopted them from HEA in 2019 as emotional support dogs for our oldest. They previously came from a shelter in Texas and had survived Ring Worm.- Pepper is missing part of her ear and has some scars because prior to coming to live with our family she had been trapped in a fence - these do not bother her now- They are bonded and sleep in the same kennel at night. - They are good with people and children and do not "yipe" like a typical Chihuahua. - They are friendly with other dogs however if the dog is too big, they may retreat to someplace alone. -Cinnamon does shed a bit throughout the year, but Pepper is a very slight shedder if at all. - The reason I am looking to rehome is because I am going through a divorce and have some medical issues that do not allow me to provide the level of support Cinnamon and Pepper need.

Story
Introducing Cam! This endearing elderly gentleman is eagerly awaiting the moment he finds his special person. Cam is a true homebody who craves the company of his human companion for plenty of heartwarming cuddles. In his foster home, he coexists with 12-year-old and 7-year-old canine siblings, joining them on walks with grace. While he gets along, he's selective about his personal space and prefers to maintain a bit of distance from other dogs. Cam would be an excellent match for respectful, easygoing dogs or would equally thrive as an only pet. He is kennel-trained, although he may express some initial whining when you leave. Cam is a well-behaved companion on a leash and relishes his daily walks. He has consistently kept his crate clean and is diligently working on perfecting his potty training. He's also begun learning the basic "come" command. Although initially shy, he has warmed up to his foster mom, accompanying her everywhere she goes. He finds immense comfort in being nestled in a cozy blanket and adores being held and petted, particularly around his neck and head. Cam has encountered a few of his foster mom's friends and, while timid, he's displayed a good-natured demeanor, though he may require time to build trust with people and dogs. He has never shown aggression, though he might seem a bit uncomfortable at first. Cam appears to relish the comforts of a home, gradually growing more confident as he explores the house and yard. His affinity for snuggling in blankets and his devotion to his human are truly heartwarming. With each passing day, Cam's confidence continues to shine through, and he's not afraid to protect himself with his bark. Cam would thrive in a household with a family that is frequently home, such as retirees or those who work from home, providing him with the security of constant company. While he might do best as the only dog, he's also learning to trust the resident dogs. Puppies and young children might be a bit too energetic for him, as he leans toward a quieter, stable environment. He has shown promise in the car during his limited trips. If you're in search of a loyal and affectionate companion who adores blankets, snuggles, and leisurely walks, Cam is the perfect choice. While it may take some time and patience to earn his trust and make him feel safe, he's a genuinely sweet boy and an excellent lap dog.

Introducing Elle! This adorable little bundle of joy sports the most charming little beard you'll ever see! Elle is a friendly and affectionate companion who delights in trotting around and discovering new things. If you're searching for a small friend, your search ends here! She gets along well with other dogs and cats. Elle is already crate trained, and although she may whimper a bit initially, you might even catch her choosing to nap in her crate. She's currently learning commands. When walking on a leash, she prefers to go at her own pace, which might sometimes take a bit longer - but rather just chill at home. Elle is quite a laid-back pup who loves lounging next to you. She adores being showered with pets and will even do a little dance when you scratch her backside. Burrowing under blankets brings her immense joy. When it comes to meeting new people, she does great when meeting new faces!. While she's not particularly interested in toys, she enjoys playing with her foster's dogs and has no problem keeping up with them despite her age. However, her overall activity level is on the lower side, with occasional bursts of excitement. Elle would be a perfect fit for a retired couple or a low-energy family. A home where people are often around and are seeking a relaxed dog would be ideal. Elle doesn't require regular walks or toys to experience happiness; all she truly desires is human companionship and the possibility of having a dog sibling to play with. Apply for Elle today!

Story
Meet Kat! She's a gem during walks with neighborhood dogs and is an absolute delight with her foster cat sibling. She's a champ in her crate at night, no fuss, no barking, just pure ease. Kat adores sleeping and snuggling with you on the couch. However, she's a bit hesitant and gets nervous around unfamiliar noises and other dogs barking nearby. We reckon that with time and regular walks, these sounds will become familiar, and she'll adjust just fine. Kat isn't much of a player, and her foster home is taking things slow with her. Right now, you can pick her up while she's on the couch, but she appreciates it if you do so gently. Her foster family is actively working on boosting her confidence, and she's gradually blossoming more each day. Generally, she's pretty laid-back, and she and her foster cat sibling have formed a great bond; they even sleep beside each other on the couch. Kat would thrive in a home that's a tad quieter, where she can navigate at her own pace and gradually build trust. She cannot wait to find that perfect family!

Shirley 5 months old 35# Heeler Mix UTD Talk about a sweetheart. Shirley would love to be your sidekick. She very versatile as she can be playful with other dogs, but just adores her people. Shirley would love a family that wants to cuddle up with her on the couch each night. She takes a minute to warm up, but once she decides she likes you she will be your adorable little shadow. Shirley came here from Texas with her sister Laverne, but I think Shirley would do ok in a home with or without other dogs. Good with other dogs- tested same size and bigger, also tested senior dogs Great with kids - tested age 4 and above Crate trained Almost fully potty trained (still adjusting a bit to the cold weather)
