Story
**I am currently available from a foster home. If you are interested in meeting me, please call the shelter to set up an appointment. Lennon may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll discover one of the sweetest, snuggliest companions around. He prefers to approach on his own terms, but when he does, get ready for lots of love and cozy moments! This handsome guy enjoys car rides, loves sniffing around outside, and seems to be potty trained. He’s also a well-mannered house guest who does great free-roaming when left alone. Lennon already knows some basic commands like sit, down, and shake—a smart boy with a big personality packed into his frame!Lennon has previously lived successfully with cats and can coexist with other dogs. However, he would thrive best as the center of attention in an experienced, child-free home. He can be protective of his space and his people, so he needs a patient adopter who will give him time to decompress and work with him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bond deeply and reward your patience with affection, Lennon might just be your perfect match.Give Lennon the chance he deserves—he’s ready to find his person!**My adoption fee has been generously sponsored by a member of the community! Now all I need is you!**Intake Reason: Surrendered, no longer could care forWeight: 30 lbs Known with: ·Dogs: OK - Keeps to himself ·Kids: Does not do well with children under 12yrs ·Cats: Good - Lived with cats#3

Story
Meet Uncle! 🐾Uncle is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 11 pounds. This little guy was sadly found in a hoarding situation alongside his sister, where it appears he received very little human attention. His sister has already found her forever family, and now it's Uncle's turn!Because of his past, Uncle can be shy and timid when meeting new people and may be nervous at first but comes around once he knows he is safe. Watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.Once he feels comfortable, Uncle absolutely loves human companionship. He's the perfect lap-sized pup and is happiest curled up on his person's lap soaking up affection. He also loves toys and enjoys spending time playing and exploring.Uncle will need slow introductions to new dogs, but once he settles in, he co-exists well with the dogs in his foster home, ranging from 10 to 60 pounds. He is doing great with potty training, rides well in the car, and especially enjoys sitting on the lap of the 9-year-old while riding in the car.Crate training is coming along, even though he is not a big fan of them, but he is learning. Given his history, it's likely that confinement can be scary for him.Uncle has already overcome so much in his young life. Now all he needs is a family willing to give him a chance. In return, you'll gain a loyal little companion who is ready to discover what it means to be truly loved. ❤️Could you be the one to give Uncle his happily ever after? Ready for a Zach attack? Wait for it....BOOM!! Little Zach is an 11 year old man who may have a tiny body but makes up for it with a Huge Heart!! Although he would rather be with you 24/7, he will hang out in a kennel awaiting your return. He loves going outside and wastes no time getting "down to business" He is gentle as he is smart and enjoys kids, cats and other dogs. A perfect evening for this Chihuahua mix is snuggling on the sofa and watching a good comedy. He is currently eating a refrigerated dog food and totally deserves to be spoiled. Story
Whoa Nellie, don’t look any further if you’re thinking about adding a pint sized pup with a big heart to your family. This adorable little angel was saved from being a backyard breeding dog after several years and now she is loving all the amazing things that dogs get to do. She loves to go on walks with her harness, hang with her peeps, both human & furry, and explore in the backyard. In fact, her vacation foster family affectionately nicknamed her "Dora" because of her adventurous nature! Nellie is an 8 year old 8 pound Apple head Chihuahua who is in overall great health. Despite missing most of her teeth, Nellie has no trouble enjoying her meals or her favorite treats. Nellie has a beautiful white and brown coat that's just as lovely as her personality. She has the sweetest little habit of making cozy nests out of her blankets before settling in for a nap. It's impossible not to smile watching her create her perfect little hideaway.Nellie’s personality is very calm and gentle, she really just enjoys being able to be a dog, and appreciates being part of a family. She is potty trained, does great in her kennel, and is up to date on all vaccinations. After spending so much of her life giving to others, Nellie is finally getting to experience what it means to simply be loved. Now all she needs is a forever family to continue showing her just how wonderful life can be.If you're looking for a loyal little companion with a gentle soul, Nellie is ready to steal your heart—and maybe your blankets, too. Story
Hi, I`m Molly! I can be a little fearful when meeting new people or exploring new places, and I may bark when people or other dogs walk by because everything can feel a little overwhelming at times. Once I know I`m safe, I`m happy to let kind people help me along, but I will just need some time to feel safe with you and your family! With some tender love and care, along with a little patience, I know I`ll grow into a wonderful companion. If you`re looking for a sweet girl who just needs someone to believe in her, I`d love to meet you!Medical History: As of now Molly is a healthy dog, but would benefit from establishing care with a new veterinarian so that she could live her best and healthiest life.
