Story
We adopted Max about 9 years ago, making him about 10 years old. We felt like we hit the jackpot! He is the sweetest dog ever! He has never scratched anything up. Never bit anything or anyone. Hardly ever barks. Never jumped on anything and has never ever gone potty in the house.Max is very shy & timid but loves snuggling up. He weighs about 15 lbs & is easy to carry. He is up to date on everything & does take medications. Although, he does NOT need them for an 8 to 9 hour gap during the day. He takes them mornings & afternoon/evenings. We are not asking for any adoption fees, just a good new home for him. You should meet him. You will fall in love ❤️

Story
Rider is around 4-5 years old. He is a great watch dog and loves to patrol the yard. He is a little timid at first but once he gets to know you he is your best friend. He loves to sit in your lap. He may be better as an only dog or with another mellow dog. We have other pets who play roughly and he does not like to participate. He is used to a doggy door. He came from a shelter and was very very thin when we adopted him, we do not know his previous history. We have had him for 4 years. He walks very well on a leash, no pulling and loves to go to the dog park. He knows the sit command and will "wait" to eat until you tell him and he loves treats (especially watermelon!) He spins around when he's excited or wants a treat. We feel he would be happier with someone who is home alot in a quieter environment.
