Sensitive, soulful, mostly house broken, and good with dogs but honestly, I think I would really love the solo life. Having a human(s) to myself is a dream. Wanna spend my golden years together? 💛💛 Please meet Pablo! 💛💛 Our outgoing and very affectionate Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua / Dachsund). He's a 4-year old, neutered male that weighs about 13 lbs and is up-to-date on his shots. We brought Pablo home during the pandemic from an org that had rescued his mom from the streets while pregnant with a liter of 5 pups. He is overall obedient with commands but it's been an ongoing process to work on managing his anxiety when new guests come into our home. We are expecting a new baby in May and are prioritizing a baby-friendly environment. I am extremely hopeful that we can find a good family to adopt Pablo as surrendering him to a shelter would be too painful of a decision. Pablo is potty trained and walks well off leash. He's GREAT on hikes and has a lot of energy and playing fetch at the beach or a park is one of his favorite things to do. He loves attention from humans but can be nervous so he is responds best to calm, confident energy and prefers women.

Starski is a 2 year old male Chiweenie Mix. He is a little guy who loves to roll around on the grass. He is pretty low maintenance, and would thrive in any home as long as he is loved, and getting table scraps is always a bonus. Starski's favorite day time activity is sitting on your feet while you make lunch. Starski came with 9 other dogs named Cobra, Dumpling, Ganta, Milo, Molly, Saki, Soju, Tempura, and Ziti from an overcrowded shelter who asked us to help. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. This litter of cuties was rescued from central California. They were inbound for the local city shelter before our rescue stepped in to help. They were shy, covered in fleas, and in need of some much needed attention. After a few weeks in our care they have come out of their shells and their personalities are beginning to blossom. They are all very sweet, playful and energetic. They are ready to forget about their pasts and move on to a brighter future with a forever family. Meet Roscoe! This 7 year old was very fearful for his first few months in the shelter, but has come so far. He still takes time to warm up to new friends, but is always happy to play outside his kennel. Roscoe will chase after plushies all day long. He`s looking for a home with an experienced adopter familiar with earning the trust of nervous pup. @vcanimalservices AMAZING PROGRESS - but Roscoe still needs an adopter after 6 months in shelter. This boy was once so fearful of dogs and people that he spent most of his time in a kennel covered with a blanket to reduce stress. Though he still needs time to warm up to new people, Roscoe is making more and more friends! He’s proving to be playful and loves toys. Though he has struggled with touch, he is even starting to warm up to belly rubs. ?? This plea is for a rescue group or patient individual with no children or pets. Someone who understands that Roscoe is not your average adoption candidate. Befriending Roscoe and building his confidence will be a project.
