My daughter got him as a puppy @ 5 years ago at her Mother's house. He was brought to my house to live 2 years ago due to her mother remarrying to a less-pet-loving person, & my constant availability for Rocket- due to my early retirement, I already had a Bulldog and Terrier which Rocket knew & got along with. In recent times, the same medical issues which pushed my early retirement have now rendered me unable to be as available nor properly care for ANY of my dogs. My Terrier has since passed at 16 years old. My adult son was able to accommodate my bulldog but is not allowed anymore pets where he lives. Rocket is a smart good spirited dog. He's more likely to become timid with any unfamiliar people/pets, but becomes acquainted in a timely manner. He is doggy-door-trained, so accessibility to one is key. Not a big eater. He can be playful when provided with outdoors & companions (Dogs or People), but is mostly calm while indoors. Generally quiet, surely not a habitually constant barker

Rex is a 9 year old dog who loves long walks, running at the park, treats, and cuddles. He’s very friendly, enjoys belly rubs, and knows commands like sit, stay, roll over, and come here. Rex loves being around people and will happily give lots of kisses, making everyone feel special and loved. He truly has so much love to give. When it’s time to nap, Rex curls himself into a little ball under a blanket, so don’t be surprised if you have to do a quick blanket check to find him!

Palló is a spunky 5-year-old Dachshund mix with a heart full of love and plenty of personality to share. He was surrendered by his owner due to a move and is now ready to find a forever home that appreciates his charm. Palló is looking for someone who will give him confidence, gentle guidance, and lots of affection—he’ll reward you with endless love in return. This little guy is playful yet easygoing, and loves to snuggle once he feels safe. Palló is shy and a bit timid around new people, but with patience and gentle introductions, he quickly shows his affectionate side. He’s generally quiet in the house and will alert you politely to visitors or the doorbell. Palló lived happily with two other dogs and enjoyed their company before coming to rescue. Now, he is living with numerous dogs of all sizes and thriving, running around and playing. His history with cats is unknown. He’s food motivated, enjoys being picked up, and is mostly housebroken with potty pads, rarely having accidents. With outdoor access, he lets himself out through a doggy door. This sweet little gentleman might take a moment to warm up, but once he does, you’ll have a loyal, fun loving companion.

Babe is a loving, adorable 7-month old puppy. She’s great with kids and other dogs. She is crate trained and house trained, but spends most of her time happily entertaining herself outdoors. She has had her first round of vaccinations but still needs her second round. We are relocating and our new landlord doesn’t allow large dogs. Babe is an easy puppy to fall in love with. It’s heartbreaking we can’t bring her with us. Please adopt her and give her a wonderful life.
