We adopted Miss Remy October last year. She is a great little girl. 5 years old, very loving, smart, listens and picks up commands very quickly. She potty trained quickly. Her interactions with our cat have been monitored as she often wanted to play but the cat was unsure. We have 2 other dogs (1 male, 1 female). No problems with the male, but recently started having problems with our female. Remy will be good in a household with no other females. No aggression towards humans.

Chester is a 1-year-old, 9-pound pup who came into the Calexico shelter as a stray. The shelter was overwhelming for him, so he moved into a foster home after about two weeks — and he’s been blossoming ever since. When Chester first arrived, he wasn’t used to human affection and preferred to hide. With patience, he’s learned to trust and now enjoys being close by. He still needs a calm, patient home that will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Chester is a sweet, curious little guy who loves the company of other dogs and even lives peacefully with two cats in his foster home. He especially thrives when he has a confident dog friend to show him the ropes — and to romp around with! One of Chester’s favorite things is going on walks. He’s also very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He’s a smart boy who’s eager to learn once he feels comfortable. The ideal home for Chester is one that’s quiet and understanding, with a family willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. With love and patience, Chester will reward you with loyalty, companionship, and lots of tail wags.

She does great with kids too, is doing wonderfully with house training, and is kennel trained as well. She has a quirky personality that keeps everyone smiling. Anahi weighs about 15 lbs, making her the perfect small companion with a huge heart.
