Louie has been a great companion, but unfortunately his elderly owners are experiencing significant health issue that no longer allow them to properly care for him. They love Louie but simply cannot take care of him anymore. Louie would be best with a single or couple, and a home with no children, as he prefers to be on your lap, or sitting close to you with limited distractions. He will do best with someone ready for a loyal companion. Louie bonds quickly with one person and can bark if someone that is not routinely in the home approaches. For this reason, Louie needs someone who can be patient and manage this behavior. We believe Louie is about 7 years old and he was originally adopted from a shelter about 4 years ago. He has gotten along well with other dogs in the famil. We can arrange to transport Louie within CA for the right family.

No out of state adoptions will be acceptable / Norther California will not be considered at all. NO LA area at all - Good samadian got him to so he doesnt get into the wrong set of hands. He is currently with our rescue organization - experience foster mom - Luca Four month old mix breed -- Luca is a happy playful puppy who is currently learning basic training (sit stay, come, leave it) and potty training enjoys other dogs, playing fetch or taking a nap with his people. Older kids no young kids -- Puppies Criteria --for small breed under 20 pounds: we are looking for people to have a dogs currently between ages of 1-4 years old in the home. Max is a sweet and resilient 5-year old Chihuahua mix, full of affection and loyalty. He was originally adopted by a single man who became ill and brought him to us before he passed away. Max had been was attacked by a larger dog and needed surgery on his hind leg which we were able to provide. He is as good as new now, but does have a bit of a limp. Max is the definition of a best friend lap dog—he’s gentle, loving, and eager to be by your side. Max gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, making him a great addition to just about any home. He’s smart, well-mannered, and always ready to give kisses and cuddles. Whether he’s snuggling on the couch or following you around with those adoring eyes, Max is happiest just being near his people. This affectionate boy wants nothing more than a forever family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you endlessly, Max is waiting to meet you! He's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and house trained (but will need a little help in a new environment). Meet Chief – A Gentle Soul in Need of a Patient, Loving Home Chief is a sweet brown Chihuahua who recently came into rescue with his two brothers, Delgado and Sweetheart, after their owner passed away. Currently unneutered and in need of some extra TLC, Chief is searching for a calm and understanding forever home where he can feel safe, secure, and loved at his own pace. Chief arrived with a skin condition and a very dry nose, but thanks to gentle care and treatment (including soothing coconut oil for his nose), he is on the mend. While his body is healing, his heart is still learning to trust. Chief is very sweet, but also anxious. He will come to you on his own terms, but sudden approaches or attempts to pick him up make him nervous, and he may express his fear through growling. Chief’s anxiety is compounded by the fact that his more outgoing siblings sometimes bully him, so he would benefit from a peaceful home where he can be the focus of gentle, patient attention. Despite his nervousness, Chief has shown he enjoys time outdoors once encouraged, exploring quietly and soaking in the fresh air. Chief is looking for a very special person or family who understands that trust takes time, and who can offer him the love, patience, and calm environment he needs to truly come out of his shell. Of the three brothers, Delgado is the most outgoing. Once he feels calm and stress-free, he enjoys being picked up, seeks out affection, and will even “talk” to you with his signature bark or little howl to let you know he’s ready for some attention.
