Meet Cole! This adorable little guy is a 4-month-old (born approx. 12/19/25), 6.9-pound black and white Chiweenie mix with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. Cole’s story started off rough—he and his brothers, Corbin and Casey, were heartlessly dumped in the countryside near a busy highway. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan rescued them and brought them to safety at AFC. Now, all three boys are ready to find the loving homes they truly deserve. As a young puppy, Cole will need guidance with house training and will require leash training once he is fully vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered and is already microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. Cole is full of love, curiosity, and that irresistible puppy charm. Meet Cole! This adorable little guy is a 4-month-old (born approx. 12/19/25), 6.9-pound black and white Chiweenie mix with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. Cole’s story started off rough—he and his brothers, Corbin and Casey, were heartlessly dumped in the countryside near a busy highway. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan rescued them and brought them to safety at AFC. Now, all three boys are ready to find the loving homes they truly deserve. As a young puppy, Cole will need guidance with house training and will require leash training once he is fully vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered and is already microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. Cole is full of love, curiosity, and that irresistible puppy charm. Meet Casey! This adorable 4-month-old Chiweenie mix (born approximately 12/19/25) weighs just 6.8 pounds and sports a handsome fawn coat. Casey and his brothers were heartbreakingly abandoned on a rural roadside near a busy highway, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, they were rescued and brought safely to AFC. Casey, along with his brothers Corbin and Cole, is now ready to find a loving forever home. As a young puppy, he will need continued guidance with house training and will require leash training once he is fully vaccinated. ola was pulled from Stanislaus Shelter’s red list on February 20th, just nine days after arriving completely shut down and overwhelmed. Like so many sensitive little souls, the shelter environment swallowed her confidence, and she quickly landed on the euthanasia list.. She is playful, loves other dogs, loves to chase bugs and birds. She is part of the one ear up one ear down club. lol But one foster stepped up. A transporter said yes. And because of that, Lola’s story didn’t end — it began. She spent her first weekend in quiet decompression, and she was an absolute angel. Once she moved to her regular foster home, she blossomed almost instantly. She now sleeps curled up with the foster’s daughter, plays joyfully with the resident dogs, and soaks up every bit of affection she can get. Her confidence grows daily, and her sweetness is undeniable. Shiloh is a 15 year old chihuahua, he loves to rest in his cage and interact with other small dogs. He is potty trained . He will vocalize when he needs to potty outside and thirsty or hungry He gets along well with small dogs Is afraid of big dogs. Does well with kids as long as he isn’t treated like a toy! But since he is older he prefers to not be messed with. He enjoys snacks For the most part he is super calm. He will open up to people who are kind and GENTEL with him. He is anxious when meeting new people but all he needs is reassurance. Doesn’t like to be taunted or messed with he is sensitive. Iv had Shiloh since he was 4 months old as my support animal . I’m really hoping to find him a loving and gentle home . He is old. And unfortunately he does not see well in the dark. He sees ok in daylight. He is missing his front teeth so is only feed wet/ soft food.

Meet the precious Frankie. He is 1 year -old (DOB 04/08/25), 16-pound, Chihuahua/Spaniel mix with warm brown eyes (his mother Rosie is a Spaniel mix) his father must have been a Chihuahua. He is slightly shy but once he’s used to you, he is loving and attentive. Frankie is friendly with other GENTLE dogs and needs a home with an existing dog. He prefers dogs his own size. He is a playful loving little guy. His pregnant mom Rosie was rescued by a local groomer. He was born in her home and she found homes for the rest of his litter but Rosie and Frankie came to AFC. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES! Frankie is bonded to his mom Rosie. He uses a doggie door to go outside to potty but may need some reinforcement with is house training. He is leash trained, has been neutered.
