Little Pugsy is looking for his forever home. He was born 12/26/23 and weighs 6.5 pounds. He is a white and cream, smooth coated, Chihuahua mix. His smooth coat is easy care. He is a PRECIOUS boy! He loves to run and play with his siblings PeeWee and Deja. He is a PUPPY and needs house training; he is using potty pads when he's in his puppy pen. He is learning to use the doggy door. Please have a flexible schedule to be home enough to establish a good routine. He will need leash training when he's old enough to be outside safely. He is playful and loving and will be a great companion. He is scheduled to be neutered but we are looking for his home now. He is current on his vaccinations and is microchipped. Mr. Martini is an adorable 12 week old Chihuahua mix weighing 5 lbs. This special little guy was rescued from a homeless camp in Stockton while his foster mom was out feeding the homeless dogs. He has been in foster care since Jan 10 and learning the ropes of the good life. He will need continued potty training. He is very socialized, loves other dogs and all humans, enjoys playing as well as down time. He is crate trained at night. He is the sweetest little puppy. Meet the lovely Nala! This adorable 9-month-old, 9-pound cream and white Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix is ready to find her forever home. With her smooth coat, long legs, and expressive ears, she's a real charmer! Nala is a shy girl who is gradually coming out of her shell here at the sanctuary. She was surrendered by her family due to housing loss, but she has a loving spirit and is starting to show her playful side. She has experience living with children and a cat, making her a versatile companion. However, due to her mouthy nature, she would thrive in a home with teenagers who can provide her with the patience and guidance she needs. At her previous home, Nala was using potty pads, and at the sanctuary, she's quickly learned to use a doggie door and responds well to the command "go potty." Juliette is an absolute delight! This pretty little Chihuahua mix is not only adorable but also full of personality and charm. She is 2-years-old, 11 pound, off white in color. BUSTER comes from a semi-hoarding situation where he spent his entire life from birth in a tiny pet carrier along with his siblings. He has come a long way with socialization and would flourish with the right guardian. He would love to be a lap-dog and also enjoys exploring outside. (Also from the same situation: CHEWY) They are very affectionate and would just like a place to call home and a Person to call family. Since these boys have had to "fight" for lap-space and attention, they have a tendency to mark territory which should die down after they are neutered (part of adoption contract). They are used to using potty pads and have learned to also go outside, but they will all still need some work with potty training. Once they are neutered and have a lap of their own that they don't have to "defend", potty training should be a cinch. This crew also would work really well in a FOSTER home that can give them more socialization, potty training, and household manners such as barking. Hello, my name is Angel, I’m a pretty black Chihuahua mix with a touch of white on my chin and chest. I weigh 14 lbs and am about 2 years old, I have adorable perky ears. I was left with my 2 babies in a crate on a sidewalk. Fortunately, someone found us the next morning. Me and my babies, Apple and Adam ended up at AFC and in foster care. I am done raising my babies and ready for my forever home. I am house trained, I will scratch at the door to let you know I need to go outside. I love to retrieve a ball and bring it back to you to throw again. I am food protective, so if there are any other dogs in the house, I will need to eat separately which should always be done anyway. I love sleeping in bed with my human, but am also crate trained at night. My fur is easy maintenance, but I do shed (Regular grooming helps minimize that). I will be just as happy if I am the only dog in the house. I love going on car rides and walk well on a leash. I will be up to date on my vaccinations, microchipped and spayed.
