Story
Meet Sophia — the tiny sweetheart with a forever-puppy face! Sophia is an approximately 10 to 12 month old, 20 pound Chihuahua mix who will always look like a baby . She was found near a high school the night before Halloween — shivering in the cold — and once rescued, she immediately showed she was destined to be someone’s beloved companion.  This girl is pure sunshine . Outgoing, social, and full of confidence, Sophia has been the perfect little cheerleader for shyer foster pups . She plays wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with the resident cat . When guests arrive, she’s the first to greet them with her happy tail wag and “welcome!” energy . Sophia is also a world-class snuggler . She loves curling up on the couch or cuddling in bed and gives affection freely and generously. She’s great on leash ‍, has the stamina for long walks, and is the perfect size for families with kids or active adopters who want a small but sturdy adventure buddy . And she is house trained too! Sweet, affectionate, playful, and endlessly loving, Sophia truly is the total package . She would absolutely thrive with another friendly dog in the home — but what she wants most is a family to adore. Sophia is ready to meet her people… If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $400 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2594698##

Story
Ashley is a hoot and a half. Such a sweet love-sponge kind of soul. She soaks it all up, but give her a squeeze and you get it right back! Ashley knows her name and is potty trained with a dog door, but without one she will need some training. Ash is very nervous on walks and prefers to be held, probably from her days as a stray, but we’re working on it. Some stability and security will show her the world is safe now! Ash likes other dogs but LOVES her people, a purebred lap bunny for sure. Ashley needs a patient adopter who will be willing to set some boundaries and help her to meet new people as she bonds very closely with her person and can be protective of her person. We have begun training and she continues to show progress.  ##2577762##

Story
Marnie is a gorgeous girl with a spring in her step despite her difficult background. Originally discovered wandering the streets scavenging for food, Marnie was brought into a loving home. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the wonderful people who took her in are now themselves between homes and are unable to properly care for this lovely lady. Now Marnie is currently being fostered and showered with love, but she still needs to find her final forever home! Marnie may be getting on in years, but you'd never be able to tell! Marnie can usually be seen on her hind legs looking for a cuddle and a kiss, and she can even make her way onto your bed for a nice nap without any assistance. Despite her seemingly endless energy Marnie just wants to be loved and to cuddle up - she is perfectly content wherever her main human is. Marnie could do with a little refresher on her leash etiquette, but she isn't one to pull. Unfortunately due to some poor encounters with off-leash dogs Marnie can be tense when meeting new dogs - she isn't aggressive, but would do best in a home where she can have some time to herself (and for hugs from her human!) Are you able to give Marnie her final forever home and a life filled with love? Please contact us!

Story
I adopted Edgar at 9 weeks and unfortunately was not able to train and socialize him as much as he needed. With that being said he is a very smart, loyal dog that suffers from some reactivity. Edgar thrives when we are at home together, he is a big sun bather and loves curling up next to you on the couch. While he may be hesitant to open up at first, once he trusts and connects with someone, he is a great little companion. He is not the greatest leash walker in the world but usually settles down 10-15 minutes into a walk. He loves to play tug of war and fetch and would love a secure, fenced in outdoor area. He has gotten a long well with dogs of various sizes in certain settings and tends to dislike taller men. He is 3 years old. I would love to see Edgar go to a home where someone is able to spend most of their day with him, my schedule has made this challenging. He is crate trained, goes in there unprompted and enjoys having his own little space.

Story
Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com Meet Cuete, the Quirky Clown Looking for His Forever Family! If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion, Cuete is your guy! This lovable adult Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless dog) is 37lbs of personality, charm, and quirks. Cuete is the type of dog that will keep you laughing with his funny antics, but he also has a soft, affectionate side that's all about bonding with his humans. Cuete is a bit of an independent spirit and much prefers the company of his people over other dogs. He can coexist with other dogs, but slow, patient introductions are key to his comfort. Cuete does have a tendency to claim his space (and his toys!) and isn’t a fan of sharing, so a home without small children would be ideal. When he's not stealing the spotlight with his antics, Cuete is an expert counter surfer and has no problem hopping over 4ft fences (he’s got some serious jumping skills!). He’s crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he does enjoy letting his voice be heard from time to time—apartment living might require some patience with his barking. Cuete is currently working through some skin issues, and his biopsy has shown a possible autoimmune endocrine condition that may require medication and careful experimentation with diet and soothing remedies. His future family should be understanding and patient as we continue to monitor and treat his condition. If you’re an experienced dog owner who can offer Cuete the love and attention he deserves—and a little space for his quirky personality—he just might be the perfect fit for you! Dogs that state ***RESCUE CENTER*** are available for meet and greets by appointment at Lola's Rescue Center located at 22351 E. Bayaud Place, Aurora CO 80018 Dogs that state ***FOSTER HOME*** will need to have a preapproved application on file before setting up meet and greets.  You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2264471##
